Glad to see you liked it. You should check out my Grow #1 because that Blue Dream grow turned out way more potent and a higher yield than this monster haha. I guess the key is to keep the light power to plant size ratio acceptable to maximize yield. As for feeding food you should try to do...
Bro ive vegged outdoors with highs of 100 and lows of 70 and they turned out fine. As seedlings the temps were more of 85 high and 60 low. Cept when temps were higher than 80 i but em in the shade or else they'd burn up.
Re: FirstGrowGod Planted Indoor 5/4/11
I use baking soda to bring up my pH and citric acid to lower it and i havent had any nutrient locking at all. If any yellowing happens its because i dont have enough nutes in the mix LOL.
It's the type of bulb used in lighting. HPS stand for High Pressure Sodium. These bulbs provided the correct color spectrum and high levels of lumens which results in high yielding plants as long as the temperature is kept in check.
Thanks Lue Weed! Didnt know about the white paper trick. My only problem is my camera doesnt have a custom manual white balance setting, its this auto mode, i click it once and it automatically adjusts it (which can be good at times, but is usually bad.) Ill try it out next time around :) THANKS
Their on their way to a great start! I totally understand that yellow HPS pictures, i also have alot of trouble getting nice pics under that lighting and its a bit bright on the eyes as well, but you'll get used to it. Keep up the good work!
Its been too long hahah since last update. THEIR HUGE!! Try to keep the pH of the water a little higher around 6.0-6.5 for soil grows that way you don't run into deficiencies by locking out nutes. Also thats kinda the way i clone too, it just takes a while, make sure you keep watering that soil...
Damn son, those cola's are so fat. And from the sound of your scissor smoke looks like your harvested it at peak potency :goodjob:
Nice score on the the silk screen, good luck always comes by when in need of something haha.
Nice score on the nutes, traps, and cloning kit. 3 bucks, thats a steal man!
Ive used those yellow traps, they work pretty well, i usually place them under the canopy and above the soil cause thats where all the gnats we're located for me. It traps a majority of them, but there's always a few...
Those CFL's look a little farther away than ive usually seen em. I thought your supposed to try to keep them 1-3 inches from the top, but i guess i was wrong cause your getting nice results with that much distance. You should flower them pretty soon or else you'll run out of space in that thing.
