100 gallon fabric pot for outdoor grow?

Hello all, I am trying to decide if I should grow this years outside crop in smart pots or in the ground. Last year I grew in the the ground and had great results but I did grow two plants in 30 gallon smart pots with great results. I am just wondering if 100 gallon pots will be big enough to grow monster plants? Last year my in ground holes were around 20-25 gallons but in the ground of course they can go where they please. I am using coot's soil mix. Any ideas or input? Thanks everyone.

Well of the weather here stops trying to bring back winter, my plan for this year is 4’ round beds 18” deep with my well aged organic soil tilled in with the local clay.

This gives me 140gal of highly rich, loosened soil for each plant. As I intend to grow in the same spot for more than a single year, not using grow bags

Anybody else have any input on growing in 100 gallon fabric pots?? My main question is will a 100 gallon pot be big enough using the "coots mix"? Thanks all.

I would think so, 100 gallons in a fabric pot is a pretty big ass root system.

A 100gal fabric pot will definitely yield you a monster, I grow my outdoor plants to around 8' (have to keep them just below my fence line) in 15gallon nursery pots with FFOF soil.

Did you ever try 100 gallon pots? Saw a 200 gallon at the shop and wondered about an indoor monster grow.

If I did an indoor grow with a 100-200 gallon (crazy I know lol), how big should the room be you think? I only intend on growing 1 at a time so that might help lol
