1st Grow: Strawberry Kush Closet Grow

Here is my updates. Little is still behind. Don't know if it will go longer or mature the same time. Don't expect much from it. Debating on trying the cold water and ice method to try to get them to turn pink. Had an ah ha moment today. I figured out after I add my nutes my ph drops to like 4.0. This made a lot of sense for all the problems I've been having. Whoops I guess I should have been checking after not before they were added. Anyway- buds

Looks pretty good dude. Ph drop is the reason I stopped using nutes. I use 1 ml per gallon of Earth Juice grow to bring my ph water down but that's about it. (My water out of the tap can be ph 7 one day and 10 the next)
Now I just stick with the old methods. Bloodmeal for Nitrogen, bonemeal for Phosphorus and Dolomite every month to stabilize the ph in my soil. Hardwood ashes are great for Potassium and running your own composts is worth the work. Getting a mix you're happy with takes several grows to dial in. But once you do you're in the zone for life.
Unless of course your soil brand changes their whole lineup and formula. That happened to me with ProMix in 2015.
I went from "this stuff is amazing" to "what the F did they do to my soil".
Got it dialed back in now.
Sorry to hear the sk is giving you trouble. Try the ice water. It helps produce colour and resins too.
I know it's hard to keep things cool under HPS. I struggled with fans, AC and too much humidity for years.
You're doing a great job.
