1st Grow - Unknown Seeds - Comments & Suggestions Welcome!

On (Day 27 & 38)
-both plants started to get worse so I decided to give 1/4 nutes
-back to 4 lights
Day 29 & 40
-plants started new growth...growth had stopped when I decided to flush.
Plant 1
Plant 2...started getting worse with brown tips..I figured it was lack of Nutes when flushing..it stopped when Nutes were added
Plant 2...the older leaves that were damaged by Magnesium deficiency I tucked under branches.
Plant 2...4 days after FIMing

slow it down brother 
the fimmed plant will take its time.. basically by fimming you stop the flow of auxins etc that regulate growth , so its not gonna start booming - you have stunted it which will make the growth significantly slower and from the bottom is where you will see changes.
at this stage id make some decisions..
"if" this was me - id scrap the smaller one- you are wasting light nutrients and effort and its not paying off
i would keep the healthy larger fimmed one and i would remove brown tipped crispy fan leaves (only 2-3 at one time)
then i would flip to 12/12 and finish it up.. 12/12 will make this plant double in size
and at least some product for all the money you have lost.
then i would read and make notes/lists so when u start ur next grow you are far more prepared.

Yep so the ones that are worse than the others.. 2 or 3 at a time and when the other ones start to die like the others then you remove them aswell, about a week in between doing this.
Yea its a tough call.. the plants really small for a month old, and i myself have had this problem.. my issue was light - it just wasnt outputting what the plants needed (LED) so what i should have had in 4 weeks veg, wasnt even a 3rd of what it should have been.. so i flipped, the plant got about 70% bigger, and because all of my nodes were really tight i got some decent smoke..
Do you have more seeds to use? it looks indica dominant so flowering could take 7-10 weeks? if you cant be f*cked going through that time with a temperamental plant,Maybe put it in a pot and pop it outside and let it finish its course in soil?
I would scrub all of your equipment down so its clean for the next go, germinate 1 or 2 seeds (in paper towel) and start from scratch, what light are you using?

Using cfl due to money...lol but will try to upgrade one day. With the doors shut it reaches up to 95* with lights on. So the doors are only shut when lights out...when lights are on I leave doors open and have a 6in fan blowing on low speed over the top of the plant. Maintains 82*- 86*.
I removed Mylar from reservoir bout 2 weeks ago. I noticed water temp was warmer than usual.
Co2 remove few days before the Mylar...lol
I just got a book today..but I still need to get a TDS meter

you need a 30x jewellers loop to see the trichomes and judge when to harvest. most members harvest from 5%-30% amber trichomes. harvest at 5%-15% amber trichomes for a "head high" energetic effect and harvest at 30%-50% amber trichomes for a "body stone" sedative effect strain dependent.

I got myself a illuminated microscope 60x-100x...havent got the focus down yet but as soon as I do I'll try to post some pics of my trichs...I'm going to flush for 1 week on my first signs of cloudy trichomes.
For years, “K” would harvest once the resin heads began turning from opaque to amber, but he’s recently rethought his timing thanks to a study by Dr. Paul G. Mahlberg who found that the THC in a resin head is at its peak when it’s still clear – not opaque and certainly not amber.
Dr. Mahlberg stuck a tiny syringe into the bulbous head of the trichome and extracted its contents, then analyzed it for THC. The result, without a doubt, THC is at its highest before the trichome turns opaque. This makes sense when you think about it: Who harvests fruit when it’s turning brown?…
“K” now harvests at the first sign of opaque trichomes, when the majority on the plant are still clear.
