2 switches: Do I use both during flowering?

My 1200 watt led light (bought it off of Amazon, so nothing fancy) has a vegetative switch and flowering switch.
Question - do I only use the flowering switch during flowering or both?

Your "1200 watt" LED isn't a 1200-watt LED.

I use both all the time just to have more power, because led companies like to list the watt “equivalent” as how many watts it is, like I have a blurple in my veg area, it says 1000w but it really only pulls 185 from the wall so it’s really only 185watts at best, but some of that power is running the fans and stuff so probably more like 160-170

Yea, hence the comment nothing fancy and it was off of amazon, but my ladies seem to be ok w it.
First time grow and they r only bag seeds. I'm shocked at how far they've come. I ended up w an auto in there also, but it's not in the pic.

The tiny one is a clone from the one on the right, but I don't have a separate tent for it so I'm just going to flower it w the other 2 haha maybe I'll get a bowl off of it lmao
