Watered today for the first time with the ph pen for adjustments. Lo and behold I was off checking with the drops. I was ph'ing to high. Don't know why I didn't get one earlier. Its way easier and faster. Thanks for pointing that out c526.

Great man, glad to see ya getting that.

take care of that thing like a newborn child, dont drop it or dry it out.and keep a spare set of batteries,,those things work by current,so if you have weak batteries, the readings will change...

On with the show,my man

Recalibrate weekly if you can and never rub the sensors with anything rougher than tissue paper.
(although if you're using the same water source, with the same nutrient mix every time, with the same ph up/down solutions, you can pretty much do it by instinct after a while.)

Thanks for the tips. I calibrated before watering yesterday and have the pen stored in a cup with a little bit of water.

Update

I F'ed up on my days. In my notes/calendar I have my schedule in weeks, but I have been putting into days on this journal. In my mind when a week started say week 3, I put day 21 down in the journal. But What I didn't realize is that is actually the beginning of week 4. Just an example because I confused myself!! Week 1(0-6) Week 2(7-13) Week 3(14-20). Week 4(21-27). I jump ahead in the week 3 update and have been posting a week ahead. Ok hope that makes sense.

The correct ages oldest is on Day 34. Middle day 30. The youngest day 14.

The middle batch is showing some rust spots. It could be the ph issue. They have had only two watering with the ph pen adjusted water. Any advice would be appreciated. Other than that everything looks healthy. I still think they are flowering slowly. One of the biggest reasons why I chose this strain was the flowering time.

Edit: Forgot to mention the smell is tantalizing. My tent smells like sweet sugar. It's very pleasant to be around.

Looking good - getting closer to the chop :) - i hate this portion of the grow - its kinda up and running but can be screwed very quickly - i tend to get a little lazy and make some stupid mistake at weeks 4-6 lol

I hear ya there mrrobert hahahahaha

looks good C'mon, looks like a calcium issue with the rust spots, they will never recover, watch the new growth.

Thanks c526.

mrrobert420 I know man. I try my best not to to f'up.

this is what i tell myself daily lol hahaha

Update

First batch day 41
Second batch day 37
Third batch day 21
Fourth Batch day 2(new)

With the good news first. I was able to start 19 new clones (48 total), which was awesome, because that's the most I ever got off at once. The First batch looks good. Now with the bad. My second batch with the rust spots have not gotten better. I know you said they would not recover, but have progressed more. I have been adding calimagic supplement to my feeding. Have been using Lucas Ratio 8/16. Been adding calimagic first before the Micro. Maybe that's my issue. Idk It's only affecting some of the plants, and everything has been on the same schedule. And the plants are not finishing in the 6-7 week range, not sure what I am doing wrong.

getting frosty - how far till harvest?

If you're still having issues, do a flush and test your run off. It normally gives you a good idea of whats going on inside, and the flush also gives you a little wiggle room on identifying the problem and solution in a timely manner.

if you're seeing high tds remaining in the run off, and large ph differences it is a possible indicator of nutrient lockout and accumulation of salts/metals.
If it is merely a deficiency, then the flush will provide you a clean slate to start addressing the known deficiency.

(side note, not being critical or anything, but what is your light's distance from the plants? It looks like you've got a lot of stretch between the nodes on several of the plants.)

I cant speak for your nutrient line up,but with the advanced 3 part,(my nutrients)yes you must add the micro first,I dont know why they dont relabel them to indicate such.,

they only thing i will add before anything(if im using it) is amour SI silicate, they like to be first in the bucket,or they dont mix well.

if ya dont like that leaf,or it bothers you, pull it off, that leave will never be green again, will get worse, watch for new growth

that shabby leave has some deficency from a long time ago,and if you didnt do SOG,then that leaf would have been pruned

on the home stretch now

It was supposed be this or next week, but I'm thinking round Xmas. BC Bud says its 6-7 weeks to flower. Thanks man they are frosty.

I take no offense. I want you guys to be critical because I that's the way I like it. My light is about 12 inches from the top the tallest plants. 8 inches to the glass of the reflector. I have not checked the run off that is something I need to do.

Thanks for the clarification. My nutes say to add the Micro first, but the directions on the cal/mag say to add that first. I will switch the order around. Those leaves will get pruned off

Thanks for all the advice. I'm gonna need it.
