2020 Outdoor Organic Grow Central Canada

I was foliar spraying with kelp extract and sometimes fulvic/humic acids which I felt they really liked

Stunger,
What product did you use for your fulvic/humic acids?
Looking for some, but there's soo many and would prefer something that someone else has used with success...

Another 40 degree day. And no rain in sight ....

The NYC diesel turned out to be a real dud. Will post pic later

Below is a random seed from auto's from the past. Either, White widow or critical mass crossed with random sativa bag seed. She's coming along nicely, smells great.

I guess with defoliation is all down to what your intention for doing it is. Some folk practice Schwazzing which is an extreme form of defoliation done around specific times. My grows are heavily trained for stealth so because of that the foliage becomes quite dense, in which case I defoliate or prune off fan leaves where they are blocking light falling on the buds, to 'open out' the foliage a bit and let the light in to hopefully stimulate more bud growth. In your case your plants are not constrained and are growing freely, so I would have thought any clipping off of fan leaves obstructing light falling on buds would be pretty minor, more of a very light pruning than defoliation. But hey, just my 2 cents. :hookah:

Better late than never, at least flower stage will benefit with the purple kush.

I have order my ACT pump and ingredients (Should be in next week);

- Pawfly 7 W 254 GPH Commercial Air Pump
- VIVOSUN 8 inch Air Stone Disc
- SLSON Aquarium Airline Tubing
- Gaia Green Worm Casting Certified Organic
- Big Blue Fish - Fish Hydrolysate 2-2-0 Certified Organic (Never used it before, it is Canadian so there is that)
- GROWNEER 4-Bag 1 Gallon All Mesh Bubble Bags (tea bags)
- Everything else I have (Kelp, alpha and compost)

- 50 Sheets Yellow Sticky Traps (Just to help out with the unwanted)

I am also going out to get the supplies to make a brewer base on Oregon State University diagram.

I think it will turn out well. The only thing I am leery about is the pale that is used. Food grade crap is outrageously priced, I will keep an eye out for a food grade barrel in the future, but for this season it will have to do.

All in all I am in about 250 bucks Canadian, about 3 bucks american. :)

What am I missing, there is always something....
Also, any one willing to share a recipe they'd like?

I have also order my seeds for next year, what the hell. Always good sale on at the end of the season.

- BLUEBERRY FEM
- BLOODY SKUNK AUTO FEM
- Bruce Banner FAST Fem
- Cinderella 99 FAST Fem
- Northern Lights Fem
- King TUT Fem
- And of course Purple kush :)

The amounts will be one of the Blueberry and Bloody skunk, and 2 of each of the others. For total of ten, 6 medical and 4 recreational. All regular seeds will be in 60 gallon fab pots, and I will use my 45 gallon for autos and fast strains. and all those 30 gallon pots will be handed down..

Anyways back to the story at hand :)

Good luck with getting those beans - it always nice in an envious type of way to see the beans on order! :hookah:

Hahah,I already have them. Its the Canuck puk 4.0 from true north seed bank, they were 60% off. Plus a few freebies. That will probably change lol, knowing myself. I have been eyeing some others that I would like to get also.

You'll be growing soon, and I will have to drool watching you grow all winter... But hopefully with few pounds of purple kush
:volcano-smiley:

Finally finished act brewer, first 20 gallon brew is started. Basic recipe
- worm casting
- compost
- kelp meal
- molasses
- Big Blue Fish - Fish Hydrolysate

Based on KIS organics

I definitely need larger pump, to support all the air. Just using the 8" air stone currently for first batch..
Going to hook my compressor, should be able to provide enough air.. I do have quality regulators and fine filters for particulate matter, that will go as low as 5psi. A specific air pump around 50 watts is over 500 bucks... F that.

Girls are doing great, need a step latter to inspect the top. I'm 6'4" the plants are 7 ft, then add 18" pot...
