2nd Grow - CFL's - Exodus Cheese - LST/SCROG - Advice Always Welcome!

Not really ... that it about how to handle the cutting. I need to know how to handle the mother plant, in order to maintain her branches that are supposed to produce cuttings, without adding a node to those branches with each cutting.

Have a read about bonsai mums. As always the newer the growth tip the easier the clone is to root.

Flowering day 63

Still hardly any ambers .. the little girl on the right is now 6 days into flowering, after showing sex. I'll count from there. She was fimmed, developed 6 main branches, and will be a test to see what happens if you flower a clone. It is a very small grower so far .. I hope she'll pick up.

The rest is doing great .. I think I cannibalised about 25 to 30 grams now, if I would have dried it properly .. It's about 15 bone dry .. so that should be 30 or a little over when at proper humidity.

By the looks of it, 4 to 5 times that is still on them ... so I think I'll be clearing that 100g mark no problem, which would then mean I would have averaged more then 25g per plant, which is not bad for a first grow, mainly on CFL's, and without nutes most of the time.

This makes me very anxious to see the next batch finish

Flowering day 66 9 weeks and 3 days, 1 week and 3 days over advertised flowering time, when counting from flip. It took about a week for the ladies to show sex .. I have them on picture at day 8 after flip. So when counting from showing sex, they are at 8 weeks and 2 days.

Still no freaking ambers ... I'm debating on harvesting too soon, so I can move the rest of my plants to flower and create room for new cuttings, as mum is getting a bit bushy.

PJ, Your Flux looks great. Don't stop now...LOL.

Looks like you kept a couple over/unders. Traditionally you want to get rid of those. However you've made good use of them. I say drive on.

Also, how long before you flip? If you've got some time you could take that right flux arm and bend it southward towards the rim. Put the bend at the rim. That way you can fill the spot and still have room to keep her head above the rest.

But before you answer....you going to repot her? If so wait on the above...LOL.

No worries, she will get at least 2 extra weeks and a new home before I'll flip her. But I do not want to veg her for 2 months or longer, unless I am going to drop my own jaw with the results

I kept all of them, as I want to limit veg time, Some of the unders are pretty slow, and seem not to be there due to that .. they are tho, and I'm hoping of guiding them into being strong parts of the plant. I want to limit her to a 30x30cm container. Roughly 1x1ft. It'll be a square .. I hope I do not end up creating a swasticannabis ...

Yea, I veg'd for 12 weeks for training...

Don't let those unders become suckers...if they don't catch up I'd consider getting rid of them. In any case you've got a good plan for veg period and repot. You've got time to sort it out.

Flowering day 69 seems like a perfect day for the girls to go dark They are 2 weeks over due if you go by advertised flowering time. I am leaning towards counting flowering from first sign next time .. altho, to be honest .. I forgot to keep track on when the new flowering girl started her cycle .. should be in here somewhere


First, my 6 plants that I will use the tops too clone, currently still in veg. Flux is there, she needs some work .. I did not have time .. will cost me in aesthetics Mum is lower left of the pic .. next to the mattresses.

Then, 6 others and I moved the small flowering girl to this tent as well. This is my new 60cm by 60cm tent .. I love people who need to stop for whatever reason. This tent will be used to flower the plants in there now, after topping and using those for clones as well.

The newly flowering FIM-ed mini clone ... I love her

And the for-last overview .. only one remains, prior to harvest. The plants are in 48h of dark now .. this is arguably the hardest part of the grow .. not looking for 48h

Also, I am trying to clone the purple one .. I am not sure where that colour comes from, but I want to see if that is a mutation or just some other odd reason .. it's the only one showing this .. it might be a different strain even .. I do not know, but so far, the flowering cutting is still upright .. I hope she'll survive and root, and then get back to veg without issues ! (Last 2 pics are the plant I refer to)

Also also, I have a few ambers .. not nearly 20% .. but I need the space for flowering and new clones ..

I've taken a good 30g off her, and by the looks of it, there is still about twice that on them .. but that is 0 experience guesswork I smoke a gram a day .. that is pretty stable, and I weighed it, so we'll just have to wait to see of my guesswork is close

Damn that's a lot of weed from one plant!~ My math is horrible (even with google's metric conversion) but I have it figured you're going through about an ounce a month.... is that about right? THAT is exactly why I started to grow my own.... I can't afford $400+ per month for smoke.... actually, I could afford the weed... it's the divorce I couldn't afford! lol

It's not one plant m8 .. there is 4 of em

I will typically smoke around 30 to 40 grams per month .. depending on the quality. That translated to almost 400 euro's a month. Not spending that, alone, is a huge profit for me

Add to that the quality, and the immense fun it is to grow, and I'm a happy camper
