2nd Grow - The Freak Is Back - LED 2017

Well hello there everyone!! It's been a little while since I finished up my last grow. It went great and I loved interacting and learning with/from everyone in the community! I was over the moon with the results and am eager to keep going! I got a TON of seeds from the hermi, which makes me smile. I also got some decent smoking buds! I can't complain at all. That being said ..............

WELCOME to my new grow and journal! I have high hopes for this adventure and it has the potential to become perpetual! Yahoo! Let's get started!

SPACE:
I am working with 2 spaces now, which is amazing :) :). Let the mothers grow!
VEG- 2'x2'x5ft closet
FLOWER- 2'x2'x5ft Jardin DS60 tent

LIGHT:
VEG- Global Star 300w LED
FLOWER- 2 x MarsHydro 300w LED

VENTILATION:
VEG- PC fans for circulation, passive intake.
FLOWER- Passive intake. 220cfm fan pulling through home made carbon filter. PC fan for circulation.

MEDIUM:
VEG- undecided
FLOWER- Home made Aeroponics/Dwc system.


I will be back on tonight after work to throw up some pictures and explain things a little more such as strain etc.

Hello there :). I've been super busy with work so I haven't had time to get a couple pictures up until now! Here's the little one and also a root picture. I've topped her once and growth looks great :). Thanks a lot for stopping in. Your fridge grow is super unique and neat to read.

I'm going to be adding 2 more beans to the flower tent and 4 to the VEG closet. I'll VEG for a month or so and switch over to flower schedule (in the flower tent). My goal is to find the best mother from the 4 in the VEG room. The mother will stay in the closet in soil and provide clones for the flower closet. That's the plan anyways! :) :). Here's hoping lol.

Here's just a couple quick pictures I came across of me building the set up. Cheap and easy. Works great so far! Also as you'll see in the previous pictures there's a dual port air pump going into the reservoir for more air! The sprayers are set to come on for 30 minutes every 6 hours. It seems ok so far but I might adjust it as I think the roots may be getting a touch dry.

She looks healthy as! Super jealous. My clone still hasn't even rooted.. you said she was from seed? How far along? Still vegging in the flower tent? Sorry for 20 questions.

Cheers for the kind words too mate! That's actually what made me check in on you, I was reading back through my old journal and wondered what you were up to now. Glad I did or I mighta missed it!

Should be a fun ride with all those extra beans. Hopefully I'll have some extra going at the same time to compare

Thanks for the encouragement!! Yeah, I'm going to VEG and flower this little one in the flower tent and focus on the 4 beans I'm popping to find a healthy mother in the VEG closet. I'd say the little one is a few weeks old now from seed. I have a TON of seeds so I can afford to be patient finding a mother, but I also want to smoke! Haha.

I tried to log in and update my signature from my PC last night but I just can't seem to remember my password. I'm not sure what to do :(. For now I'll just keep posting from my phone lol.

Pretty sure if you go into your thread, press on the vertical dots in the top right corner and choose copy URL, then go into you settings in the app, choose "custom" as your signature and then paste the copied URL it should work (should) I know I got it to work through the app anyway

Here a quick little update. I'm seeing some browning on the lower leaves. I think it's time to refresh the res. Look at all the new growth from the second topping though! I love it :) :). A little root porn as well... for those of us who are into that sort of thing lol. One picture is with flash and one without. I'll be popping more beans in the very near future to get things really rolling. Happy growing!

Hello hello! It's been a while. The 2nd grow went south and life came up! Things happen. I'll be continuing from here on this one as I've already popped some beans slightly and dropped them in the set up. The only thing that's changed is the 3rd LED I bought has been added to the tent. There's now 400 actual draw LED watts in there. I hope to pull some beautiful buds :). I'll get a couple pictures up soon! Happy growing!! :) :)
