4 weeks from 12/12 switch

Barney’s farm laughing Buddha at 4 weeks from light switch.

This is a heavily sativa dominant long flowering strain. All of 8 weeks to go.

I’ve grown this a number of cycles now.

Although a long flower time, it yields surprisingly well. It’s not an overpowering strain, it’s much more a clean, clear headed old school sativa.

This strain responds well to defoliation, but later into flower. A couple more weeks. Once the buds get their sugar leaves grown.

Once the big fans are gone, the light penetration allows even the bottom buds to swell up nicely.

it’s also a treat to manicure. Very high calyx to leaf ratio.

Think of an upside down strawberry. A collar of sugar leaves, then all bud

like most long flower sativas, it’ll fill in slow. Painfully slow. Lol

last crop went 14 weeks from light schedule switch.

Beautiful girls my friend.

They’re at the “slow” point of the grow. It’s week 6 or so and these 12 to 14 week strains do this lol.

Little bit of leaf curl from light burn, but it’s a sacrifice I accept on the tallest colas. They also got a one time dose of pk13/14 which will give them a tad of nute burn on the leaf tips.

Bur overall look good for this strain at this point.

Fuck a leaf burn! Those look perfect to me! Mmmmm!

Lmao. Thanks.

I have kind of a keep them green, healthy and perfect growing style, until about this point.

At this point, I WANT to start using up fan leaves. Lol

Bottom leaves using up nitrogen and starting to yellow, pushing light intensity at the tops.

The fan leaves will start looking worse every week now, but the buds will keep looking better.

I hear ya! Bro, my people have told me to stop manicuring my buds! They don’t care if there’s a little crispy part of a leaf...

Here is what my fruit salad looks like finished.

5 days later. Not much change. It’s the “patience required “ part of true 12 week strains.
