Are you trying to reclaim your oil rigs or your glass flower pipes? One thing i found that helped do the trick was to get my 99% isopropyl hot before using it and then once it was hot and inside the rig, I would cap it off with rig nipples and shake it a bit, but the heat does all the hard work for you! like magic even! try heating up half a coffee cup of water in the microwave, once the micro beeps take the cup out and be sure to take the lid off the isopropyl, then take a bottle of iso and put it in the hot cup of water, wait about 3 minutes until the iso is really hot, works like a charm, no salt or anything else needed!

420 worked ok for me, but I prefer Grunge Off, cleans even the dirtiest of pieces and is re-usable... Just my two cents, some may not like it, but it is my go to cleaner...

I would stick with the original alcohol, hot water and salt.

That combo has been doing the job for years, its free and it will continue to be a great choice for years to come!
