different grow styles. Great idea. I will post pics of my homebuilt grow cabinet to get something posted here. I will change out the carbon filter and do install a new HEPA filter in the light blocking box, my passive air intake, each grow.

This will be my 6th grow, looking forward to a photoperiod grow after three consecutive auto grows. Dropped 4 seeds into distilled water Saturday morning May 1st. The seeds are small, light colored and have no markings, spots or banding. I was surprised to see a small tail on one already this morning. I soaked 6 seeds to yield four. I will plant all into Solo cups and go with the 4 healthiest when I transplant into 5 gallon pots. I need to change the 4” filter and swap in the veg bulb, mix soil and clean the cabinet. Updates will be more frequent when sprouts appear.

Still not much to see over here yet. A few shots from day 4 and 5 (today). I have four front runners and one back-up. The sixth is barely visible after I brushed away a little soil and still has the split seed attached. It hasn’t changed since yesterday and probably won’t make it. Could have been operator error on depth. These were fast to show tails in one day of soaking and 4 popped up in 4 days after planting. So 100% germination and at least 5 of 6 looking good. Oddly I lost one seed in the mix when planting, dumped the top of the soil out and still couldn’t find it. So I dumped the soil back in, marked cup with a X and hoped for the best. That plant was the first to sprout, next to the cup side not centered, and is #1 today. Since it was close to the side I am able to see root development faster than the others. Already doing well and pic included. Pics are from day 4 and 5.
