420 Magazine’s Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By Cr8grow

Day 49 from sprout, end of Week 7. I decided my nute burn was likely light stress (close up picture included)…

thanks @Websissy. I raised the light from 24” to 28” above the canopy. I went back to full strength nutes and deep watering yesterday…believe I underfed the last two feeds thinking I saw nute burn. Plants were also somewhat wilted just overnight because I thought by pot weight would need another day before watering/nutes. So water was 5 days since last and was a 7 day interval previously. Temp 79 this morning, ranging 63-84 and RH 41%, ranging 30-56%. Plants are 12-13” tall and canopy is wall to wall in my 3’x3’ cabinet. I was happy when I looked in today, all looking much better fed and watered and slightly less light intensity. Seeing a little stretch with good node spacing underway. I will flip to 12/12 tomorrow morning and expect to see fuzzy tops within 10 days. I will switch to organic flower nutes after stretch ends, introducing some guano tea also in stretch. I will swap in my 3k flower bulb for my 4k veg bulb also after stretch. I will trim all small branches down low after stretch, but will only clip fan leaves if worn out or necrotic. Great genetics so far, thanks @Weed Seeds Express. Pics are from today.

Day 53, half way through Week 8 from sprout and Day 4 after flip to 12/12. All needed water and full strength nutes yesterday…now a 4 day interval. Plants have grown 5” in 4 days and I’m raising the light daily. Still seeing some light stress, but not bad. Trim underneath all will be sometime next week and I will add a fan down low in the next few days. I see a pistil or 2, waiting for full fuzzy tops in the next week or so. I’m enjoying following all the comparative grows and learning more daily.

Well man you're plants are always looking stellar! These GSC are no exception. I am thinking like you that @Weed Seeds Express provided us all with some top quality genetics for this comparative grow.
beez0404, our grow styles are very similar. I’m anticipating a cabinet of triangle shaped purple tinged GSC buds….with easy trim. We will see. Dropping a pic of my first grow and first post here, also a GSC in organic soil approach. Cheers.

Amen brother on the easy trim! I absolutely detest trimming especially those really leafy plants that has sort of dense buds but you have to carve them out of the leaves. I'm always tempted to just toss it all in a vegamatic and turn it into edibles. Save myself a few hours trimming that crap up.

Day 56 from sprout, 6 days since flip to 12/12. I see pre-flowers, but no fuzzy tops yet…next week. Plants are now 18” on average and light is 26” above the canopy. Light stress is improving and going back to full veg nutes two feedings ago has increased N for the push through flower. All will require water and nutes tomorrow, another 4 day wet/dry interval. I will introduce a bit of guano tea to veg nutes to start the transition to flowering nutes plus guano tea to the finish. I will place another small fan on the cabinet floor to keep things fresh under the canopy. Once stretch is finished I will trim out the low inside small branches, leaves and will keep all fans that still look good. My plants will feed off those fans when they need extra N late flower. I will then also swap in my redder spectrum flowering bulb, which casts a pink glow on the bright flat white cabinet walls. Night air comes in below the canopy at 63F, so I will not be surprised to see some purpling in the “fall”. Pics are from today, end of week 8 from sprout.

I'm looking at your girls and wishing my medium was right when I started this comparative grow. Seeing how much yours have/are stretching tells I messed up with these GSC plants of mine. They look okay now that things are running smoothly but they will not reach their full potential like yours will. Great job @cr8grow your girls are beautiful.

If your GSC’s are like mine you’ll see some major stretch in the 3rd week after flip.
