I layer coco and perilite all the way up the pot. Regardless of pot size.
I find it helps roots and aeration.

I always leave the center high.
And run one last layer of perilite
around the outside edge of the pot.
Before I finish dressing the top.
I want the water to run to outside rim of the pot.
Remember water where you want the roots to be.
Not where they are.
Until you fill the pot.
That’s my main objective once she is rooted. Fill your pots.

As I layer in perilite I sprinkle Bokashi and Frass & Dazzle.
Then I spray water with mild kelp solution to activate the microbes.
This way they start right away and I didn’t have to soak the whole pot.
Beneficial microbes. It’s the way of the future.

Seriously key to any big healthy lady.

I sit cubes in clonex and superthrive in water.
Just a dunk don’t soak them. Fresh coco/ perilite just moist.
A little myc. In the coco.
1/2” deep with tweezers.
Don’t drop them.
Be careful.
Back fill gently.
And your ready for another GSC.

Never heard of a couple of products you are using. But, it sure look like you know what you're doing. And those seedling are destined to be darling's in a short time!
