In my opinion, I saw 2 types of phenos from what I had. The percolating, bubbly foxtailish buds of one pheno.
and the pyramidal, pine cone shaped buds with more hairs other pheno.
Whether or not that leans towards the Durban side, I couldnt say.

I had a build up of my nutes on the surface of my pot. I think it was initially starving the plants. Now that I am watering it in more, they are starting to mature further. They were looking more mature than I was hoping. Just something I've been mulling about in my brain. Not sure how much bro science that theory is or if it is something others have experienced.

The plants have slowed down drinking on their own, but I do not, as a practice, withhold nutes or flush. Also to add to this, is it not the photons that ripen the trichs and not necessarily the plants matureness?

After reading this I chopped today. It would appear that its not entirely rare for plants to not turn amber. So waiting around for nothing to happen was counter productive.
I am whole plant hanging them in Das Schloss and setting the AC Infinity fan for 60 percent humidity. I have a 5 gallon bucket of water in the middle of the tent and will be aiming for a 10-14 day hang at 60 percent humidity and 60 degrees F. Low and slow coupled with a dry trim.
The next update here will be after trim and show some nug porn.

Today we draw to a close the GSC Comp journal with some phine details in nuggetry. This honestly looks like some of the best I've ever grown. This was not a huge yielding grow.... I dont care to be that bogged down in harvesting.
Plus, because I grow my own, Ive become a lot more pickier on what I care to keep and vape. So I purposely kept the plants to quads only and didnt let them get too toppy, and therefore having smaller buds.
The results are in......
I now head on back to Das Schloss and carry on with the perpetual.....smoke report will end up there methinks.

Hey Baron, it’s been a while since I stopped by. I’m glad I did because those buds are looking sweet! I like your grinder, which reminds me; I probably missed it but do you have a Zeus vape? I’ve got the ARC GT.

The grinder came with the vape I bought a while back. I find it a bit small and am looking at getting a bigger one. Listening to any and all suggestions.
The vape I have is the Airizer Air. I think its the best in its class because its super easy to clean, easy to load and it uses a swappable 18500 battery. Its also made by a Canadian company....so theres that.
