July 15, Alive 49 Days 39 Days of Veg
Smooth sailing in here. No issues nor bugs of any concerns. Girls have been binge drinking up a storm for the past few days. 4 gallons a day has been sucked away. I guess any real concern about hydro would be the amount of nutrients used. 78 gallons in this grow already!
ppm are steady around 950 going in.
pH set at below 5.8 drift up 6.3ish.
Res Temps 67
Temperatures low 68F high 80F
Humidity low 53% high 64%

July 18, Alive 52 Days 39 Days of Veg 3 Days Flip.
These two popped fuzzies in the first shortened day. Put on 6 inches of height. 24 inches tall now.
The untopped one (Flora) also the one with Mosaic markings. Had her throat crushed on flip day. In other words the main stalk was soften up like you would suppercrop without the crop being done. This will slow down the stretch.
Also done on flip day....their reservoir cleaning and nutrients change. Foliar, root and hydoton treated with SNS209.
Today a little thinning of the jungle!

And for the ladies in waiting!
Yesterday had their reservoir changed, foliar, root and hydroton treated with SNS209. Thinning of their jungle was done this morning. They are all around 18 inches tall.

As you can see. They are reacting very well to the nutrients. @Prescription Blend Nutrients have been doing exceptionally perfect in my grow style. With no issues and little work to administer.

Haha, I do or have grown in all types of mediums. Just prefer simple hydro for indoor grows. Plus I get to mess around and pick fun at soil grown.....just because!

Change of reservoir is more of a cleaning with a root rinse. Plus while I have them in the bathtub. I can do a foliar spray.

(Hydro also makes it easy to move plants around) until they get to big to move. Then they will be done in place.

The only other reason I may have to change out is if normal pH drift is way off.

How often do I change out depends on where they are in cycle.
Normally every 10 days max. Still this is just a root rinse to remove all the salts, dead root pieces and whatever else is floating around.

This time because I have been using SNS209 pest preventive measures. The reservoir changed have been to their schedule modified. Every 5 days for the first 3 weeks. Than every 10 to 14 days after.

I top off every day with nutrients.
If my initial set ppm was 1000. And I check it 12 hour later and it's at 800ppm. My top off will be 900ppm target. Make sense?

Well for indoor was an "Alien OG" around 4 years ago produced 18.3 ounces.
Since than 3 different plants just over 15 ounces each. 2 OG Kush and my latest GSC that clocked out at 15.4 zippers.

Stunning....I was at first awed at that number, then I cringed thinking of that trim job . That is simply awesome numbers to pull in. I figured you had an iincredible personal record harvest, but 18.3?

Alien OG was a monster (and yes my personal best) 5'x4.5' wide 5' tall. Harvested her for two weeks.

After the top removed and harvested the rest over the next 2 weeks.

Trimming her still gives me nightmares!
