C.R.E.A.M. #1 - Looks healthy so far - actually bottom leaf looks a bit light - I will take a closer look shortly.

Cheese #1 - Looks healthy so far.

Growth Stage:

2 Bakerstreets: Day 6/ Week 3 ... middle veg.
1 C.R.E.A.M.: Day 6/ Week 2 ... early veg.
1 Cheese: Day 6/ Week 2 ... early veg.

*** Autoflower Stages: 1 week seedling, 3 weeks veg, 3 weeks preflower, 3 weeks bloom, harvest, curing

Environment:

RH is running steady around 55%.

Canopy temperature is running between 25°C (77°F) and 27°C (81°F) lights on, and 21°C (70°F) lights off.

CO2 is refreshed frequently when the exhaust fan turns on.

The light is running 20h on (15:00 - 11:00) and 4h off (11:00 - 15:00) .

The light is 53 cm (21") above canopy centered over the 4 plants.

Watering and Feeding:

pH: 6.68
ppm: 427

Bakerstreet # 1: 0.175 litres (0.75 cups)
Bakerstreet # 2: 0.175 litres (0.75 cups)
C.R.E.A.M. # 1: 0.175 litres (0.75 cups)
Cheese # 1: 0.175 litres (0.75 cups)

Watering and feeding was done right after the lights turned on.

Activities:

Refilled the humidifier with water.

Raised the light to 53 cm (21") above canopy to promote a bit of stretch in the branches. I am pretty sure doing this will make LST a lot easier in the upcoming days.

Added bamboo lattice to support LST and quadlining.

Used 15 cm (6") training wire to pull node branches down to primary fan leaves.

Notes:

All the plants will get a heavy watering and feeding on Monday.

Lessons Learned:

When topping, I need to make sure I leave the two new little "auxiliary buds" on each side of the "top stem", and only crop the "top stem".

Correction: I pruned node #1 this time ... next time, it is recommended I prune node #1 and node #2, and leave node #3 and node #4 in order to not over stress the plant.

ToDo:

Learn more about LST and review quadlining.

Learn more about growing in coco vs soil.

Awesome journal @SQl2kGuy. Your pics are excellent. I’m growing autos in 5 gallon fabric with ffof. I’m using their trio tho. I’ll follow along. Happy growing, Cheers!!!
Hey @Jdeck ... perfect timing! I was looking forward to reading some grow journals with environmental characteristics similar to mine. I am also hoping to pick up some more tips on LST this weekend, because I just did LST for the first time today.

Nice LST on those girls :ganjamon::bravo:

I just started quad lining this grow. I tend to get lazy and my lst gets sloppy and tangled. I definitely will cut perlite in when I start more autos in a month or so. The ffof does tend to get compacted . I am quite pleased with the growth using 5 gallon vs 3 gallon.

Hey @Jdeck ... I appreciate the feedback. I am thinking about using a mix of FFOF (Ocean Forest), FFHF (Happy Frog) and perlite next time if I stick with soil. I don't have any experience with 3 gallon containers yet, ... but from what I am seeing with the autoflowers I am growing, a 5 gallon cloth container seems great for buffering nutrients, aeration, drainage, and LST techniques.

I'm off to read your Bubba Kush & Bubble Gum Autos From Dr Seeds In FFOF grow journal now.

Used 15 cm (6") training wire to pull node branches down to primary fan leaves.

Notes:

All the plants will get a heavy watering, feeding and Root-Stim on Monday.

I am going to try topping all 4 of the Bakerstreet's stems before they go into flower on Monday.

Will apply Root-Stim with watering and not with feeding in a day or two.

I am going to try topping all 4 of the Bakerstreet's stems before they go into flower.

Lessons Learned:

I did not remove the cotyledons during pruning this time - only because of a suggestion I read in another post. I need to research why the cotyledons are left to die and fall off on their own.

LST on both Bakerstreets. I am trying to expose the growth nodes to light and air because they are going to become colas.

Applied Root-Stim to C.R.E.A.M. #1 and Cheese #1.

Notes:

I am going to let the quadline branches grow out and just focus on exposing the growth nodes to light and air.

Lessons Learned:

Research on Harvesting, Drying and Curing (Jars):

By @Furcifer:

Low and Slow or (Lotus Cure) :

Harvest and trim fan and large leaves from plants.
Wash buds.
Hang to drip dry.
Small fan circulating air.
Fan can blow across buds as long as buds do not move.
Around 4 hours.

Remove buds from stalks and put in canning jars.
Do not remove sugar leaves, since they are the buffer to protect the flowers.
Fill jars loosely 1/2 to 2/3 full.
Cover open end of jar with nylon screen and screw on cap ring.
This keeps the buds from falling out during rolling or gentle shaking of jars.
Place in the crisper of a frost free refrigerator.
3 to 5 week process.

Week 1.
Everyday roll or gently shake jar.

After 7 to 10 days.
Take a jar out and let it come up to room temp 20°C (68°F) to 25°C (76°F) and RH below 60%.
Place a humidity sensor in jar and seal.
Place in dark.
Wait one hour.
If RH is not between 64% and 72% then replace screen and return to crisper.

Week 2 through 5.
Check and roll/gentle shake every couple of days.
Check RH% weekly.
Once RH% is between 64% and 72% then remove jars from refrigerator.
Let them come up to room temp 20°C (68°F) to 25°C (76°F) and RH at 62%.
Place a humidity sensor in jar and seal.
Place in dark.
Burp jars daily and gently shake or roll jar before opening.
Room parameters 20°C (68°F) to 25°C (76°F) and RH at 62%.
Open all jars.
Place a test jar on its side with a humidity sensor inside.
Leave until humidity sensor reads 62%.
Before I seal each jar, I run a small fan over the top of jars which forces fresh air in.
Repeat process until test jar humidity sensor reads 62%.
Burp and seal jars for one week while checking daily that RH is stable.
After I week then burp jars and seal for 1 month.
After 1 month then smoke, vape and enjoy.

Sealed unopened jars can be placed in a frost free fridge and burped every 4 months.

Learn more about Curing using paper bags in the fridge then storing in jars.

Learn more about LST, topping, pruning and review quadlining.
