4x4 Platinum Blue Dream Grow - Gorgeous Phenotype!

Hello 420 Magazine,
I am Starting my first grow journal so bare with me. I will be growing platinum blue dream. I got this blue dream phenotype from my work/collective and it is a favorite among patients. My last grow went 65 days turned on pretty well. So now to get to it. I have been vegging for 8 full weeks 18 hours of light and im getting ready to flip this next week. I have a lot more grow notes on this grow and last, but i will save that for future if anyone is interested. So for the set up

Equipment
4x4 grow tent (apollo)
600w mh/hps cool tube (apollo)
6 in inline fan (exhaust)
6 in duct fan (intake)
Drip irrigation system
Room temps 80-70
room humidity 60-40

Nutes
Flora nova grow/bloom
Pro-tek silica
Hydro guard
Cal mag
Normal tap water all ph'ed to 5.8

This is not a complete list but the main components. I rock in 6x6 rockwool cubes and transplant to 2 gal. pots filled in with 1/4 rockwool chunk. I hand watered the plants about 1 every other day untill i installed the drip system about a week ago. I drip for 3 minutes 2 times a day ever since and they have been loving it! trellis and 12/12 coming soon! I am a fairly new grower and i would love any advice or tips i could get from fellow growers. Hope you all stop by!

Looks great. Nice pre flowers going there. Sorry didn't see the heading that said" last year's harvest." Still they look great.

hello 420 mag!
I just had some free time at work so i decided to post some pictures of the babies vegging along with some dates. I have aggressively topped and bended this plants for about 4 weeks. I cut a tray of clones to really shape them up into what i wanted. I plan on switching to 12/12 this week. hope you all enjoy the pics! happy growing

Time for an update! I Have a few pictures I wanted to share. I started flower Monday 6/8/2015. We are around day 6 of flower so not much flower production yet. These Girls are looking little low in nitrogen but I'm not sure if i should pick a supplement or not. Can anyone tell or anyone have any advise? Im not worried just precatious. I just added the screen net last night and snapped a few pictures. These girls are poppin off Stay tuned and Happy growing!

hey 4-2-0 im back for a quick update. Not to much bud production going on yet just gettin fuzzy. I have started adding bud candy and extra cal mg and the girls seem to be eating it up. this first picture is about 10 days into flowering

back at it again. now a little trichrome production and the stretching is just about stopped. Just a little These pictures are from week 2 of flowering. This is my first time with a scrog and i must say it is amazing! This blue dream loves to be bend and pruned. I am still defoliating some big fan leaves but ill clean the bottoms up in about 2 more weeks.

Here for a little update. So the flowering is starting to be very visible and some trichome production are starting to take place. These pictures are at the beginning of week 3. I have been having a little issues with heat, with it being summertime is Los Angeles. I run my lights at night so my temps are about 80-85 all day long. Doesn't look to be a lot of visible heat stress but let me know what you think. I cant really increase my ventilation system until i have some money to invest. Anyone have some cheap tent cooling techniques? And sorry for the pics i still cant figure out how to rotate them.

back to update again. I have been issuing a high amount of heat. I have my light only turned up to 50%. Thanks to pro-tek silica there is very little notice of heat stress! tomorrow 7/6/2015 will be the first day of week 4 flowering. This pheno really stretches before it starts to bulk up! Stay Tuned! back for a quick update. This girls are in cruise mode. After using the cal mg + nitrogen then yellow went away and they look very green now! just a little curling from the heat stress. but the colas are starting to form nicely. this girls kept stretching just about to the end of week 4. still looking for some subbs or comments!

hello 420 mag! couple of pictures for week 5! girls are just cruising and eating heavy. They girls are really green with just a little bit of curling leaves from the heat. But the trichome production is outrageous and some great cola production! Hoping for a great and bountiful harvest! everyone join and comment i would love some input! hope

Week 6 update!
these pictures where taken monday 7/19/2015. These girls are looking so good. Just a few leaves dying off but still very green! I will start to cut back on the nutes. My last run i flushed for nearly 3 weeks and i feel the buds lost some with the missed nutrients so this time im doing a quick flush. Nodes are starting to come together and looking more beautiful everyday! hoping for a pound harvest! enjoy and happy growing!

just a quick shot of the last 2 buds from last harvest. This is my platinum blue dream phenotype. These buds have been curing for about 3 months now and the flavor is outstanding! Hoping for bigger buds this time around! enjoy!

time for a new update! these pictures where taken monday 7/26/15 start of week 7. buds are starting to really bulk up, i had to tie up my first one!. i started to flush on wednesday day 53 of flower. Hopefully the will go for another 10 days so we can harvest soon! stay posted!

Just gettin super excited about these girls. these pictures are of week 8. Everyday they are bulking up and looking frostier every second!

Week 9 of flower! these girls have been going forever! still a lot of white hairs and still all white trichs. Hopefully she will come down in the next couple of days. i am noticing a bit of fox tailing but i am hoping it doesnt effect the yield. The average temp this grow has been about 85 degrees.

Just my two scents, but I think you could let it go another week or probably two. She looks like she still wants to grow, new bud development and all white hairs. Trichs dont look fully developed, and the leaves havent yellowed at all. Since blue dream is a sativa if you let it go the full length it will fully mature and you will be happier with your yields quality and quantity. It was one of the first plants i ever grew and me and a buddy put it straight into his backyard soil with hose water and still got a qp! Maybe find another grow of blue dream that was completed on here and see how long they went? pheno types can be a lil different too.

ive grown this same pheno before and got a good quality with only 55 days of flower. Also i have been flushing for around 14 days now so im really unsure why she is so great still. Ill keep them going for sure but im a little concerned why its still so green. thanks for your input

Hope it tastes as nice as it looks. But in my opinion thetahoedude is right they look like they could go some more. Good job though man I'll be interested to see the final product

Just about time for harvest. These pictures are from monday the start of week 10. Last night i stripped quite a few leaves in hope to drop the humidity. temps have been about 82 and 55-60% humidity. finally bought an a/c so we can get those temps down! I Have been flushing nearly 3 weeks now and still not much yellowing going on still. The under buds don't look like they are starving for food or look like any deficiencies. enjoi some pics!!

Time for an update. the plants where cut down yesterday morning. I gave the girls 24 hours of darkness first. A full 11 weeks of 12/12 light so a complete 9 weeks! I decided to cut a little early because it is getting so hot outside. pic soon to come!
