Watered a bit and got the Afghan 1 standing a bit better.

nicely done! I have a stack of bamboo here in case I need it too. Silicates are your friend... a little aloe vera juice a few times in veg and those stalks really toughen up.

The seaweed extract I use now has aloe and yucca so we’ll see the difference with the next round.

I am giving the equivalent of compost teas every other watering, and will continue that all through the grow. I got a 5g and a 3g refillable water bottles and I fill them up at the local strip mall at the filtered water station. 5g cost me $1.

They’re weird about their natural water here. The URB I use says to cut it down from 15ml to 10ml so that’s all if done. They’re lookin pretty today.

Well I just thought the Jacks we’re ready. I swear they went from clear to cloudy... stalled, now the buds have grown a third in size, and the trics are clear going cloudy again. I see some amber but wasn’t sure what I was really seeing. No where close to 10%.

Maybe this weekend they’ll be ready.

The Afghans and the 47s still have awhile. I read that some “versions” of the two can run up to 12 weeks. The pistols are insanely thick on both, but the 47s have a white/yellow mixture... it’s crazy looking. I’ll get some shots of them tonight.

I noticed for the first time last night that the leafs on the Jacks are turning purple. These plants are really cool to watch run through their cycles. I can only imagine what they could have been, had I more experience in the beginning. I still kick myself for not cloning. Oh well, I can always run seeds.

Thanks man... yeah I do, still cloudy with minimal (sugar-leafs) amber.

What’s the longest you’ve seen cloudy to amber take?

I’m wanting more of a relaxing high, so as far as I can pull it. There haven’t been new pistols for at least a week.

I feel like I’m waiting for a brisket to get over the stall... lol!

I'm outside so amber can come a lot faster. I've seen my plants get over-ripe in short order! If the sugars are minimal amber I'd say you have a week at least if you want a more body high off the Jack. It leans pretty heavily to the sativa side as I recall.

It’s a cross with BOG too, can’t remember, but isn’t OG indica heavy?

Is it necessary to have darkness when curing?
I was going to hang them in the back of my room by the filter, but I keep seeing folks say no light.
If anything I guess I can throw up my pop up blind and hang them in there.

Do you go by DocBuds bud washing method? Do you think I should run them through an H202/water solution because of the mites, or is that more for mold?
