Hey everyone this is my first post on the site but have been surfing the site for some time now. I have some previous knowledge with hydroponics but this is my first grow. Here is a rundown of the setup i have going.
-5 pure power plant clones from healthy mother
-20 gallon tote converted to dwc
-20 watt air pump with multiple air stones
-4 inch net pots with hydroton holding 1.5in rockwool cubes they were cloned in. All of them got moved to the dwc tent once they had 3 or 4 inch long roots coming out.
- running RO water with GH flora series along with hygrozyme at 4ml/gal and CaMg at 3ml/gal also added 5ml total to rez of floralicious plus. Gh nutes were at a ratio of 60% recommended dose for aggressive veg growth so 9ml/gal gro 6ml/gal micro and 3ml/gal bloom.
-They are under 900 watts led. Actual output is around 450 watts suspended 25 in above plants and hope to leave them there and let plants grow into them for convenience
-tent has fan rated at 450cfm
-tent is 4×2×4
-they are on 24 hour lights
-ph is at 6.0

They have been in the tent about a week and have shown fast signs of growth. I had the calw affect going on with my leaves so i figured i added too many nutes. I added 4 gallons of water the the rez which had 14 already to submerge the bottom inch of the net pot. Over night they perked up and now have roots in the water so they just might have been thirsty. I plan to drop rez down to 12 gallons once roots are abundant. The room is at a temp ranging from about 70-88 on the high end. I would appreciate any feedback on the setup thanks everyone.

I fimmed all of the plants a couple days ago. 5hey took really well to it and sprouted multiple tops. The lower growth shoots are also getting longer. Because of the limited space i have decided to fim/lst into the scrog net. I know it might add a little bit of time to veg but im hoping to use almost all of the horizontal space in the tent. Ive started tying the plants down slowly with hemp in a loop taped to the rez. Here are some pictures of what theyre looking like after i tied them down. Theyre small still but growing vigorously.

Update. So the plants have been in the tent for just over 2 weeks. They have tons of roots so im letting them drink up the water and not topping off the rez until its at about 12 gallons. The ph is staying right at 6.0 and the heat is still between 70-85 RH 20-30%. There are a lot of different growth tops. Right now i have the screen 7.5 in. Above bucket. That leaves 21 inches of room between the lights/top of the tent and the screen. Does anyone have any advice on if thats portioned out right, given my space. I would also appreciate any feedback on how much of the screen i should fill before i flip to maxamize yield. The PPP seems to be pretty vigerous and im hoping to not run into height issues, anyone have experience with the strain? Here are some more pictures.

I wasnt finding much info on the stretch on pure power plant in scrog, so im just kinda winging it hom how much room i should leave between the lights and screen to be most efficient with the space.

It is mostly indica so you can expect it to stretch to one and a half the size it is when you flip the light schedule to 12/12.

So you think i could move the screen up a little bit? With 21 inches between the screen and the lights. Im trying to size it right so when i harvest im within a couple inches of the lights because they put offvirtually no heat. Thanks for the info rifleman.

I would top them when ready and keep the screen low and full. The fuller it is, the larger your harvest. Take a look at Oldergrower's current journal. He has a beautiful scrog full, and is uber helpful too.

Sorry I was not clear. I meant you should top them when they are ready for it. You should not be cutting on them after you flip the lights to 12/12. Continue lst until the screen is full. Full screen means lots of bud. I hope this helps clear it up for you.

Ok that makes since. Im trying to get as much branching before i hit the screen so its a little bit quicker to fill the screen once the plants hit it.

Heres another update. They have been in the tent for 18 days now and about 28 since they were cut from the mother. They seem healthy to my knowledge. Heres some of the latest pictures

Heres an update. Theyre exploding with growth right now. Ive stopped tying down branches for the most part. Just snipping a leaf here and there to open up a new top. Last night I topped off with a gallon of water with same nutrient solution i had before but added in an extra 5ml of flora gro. And a couple drops of floralicios plus. They look like they appreciated that.
