a minty strain?

I have a random bagseed grow that almost done. I tried test bud last night it was good buzz and had a nice minty taste to it. So I'm curious if that coud be a hint of what strain it is or something new? also if it's something new is there a way to harvest and save her genetics ?

I find fresh, non-cured (or briefly cured) bud to have a grassy smell and flavor to it that sometimes resemble mint, so I'm not so sure this is a characteristic of your particular strain.
