A New Chapter: First Indoor Grow With NextLight Mega

Too bad about the hermie Kanda. Good thing the rest of them look awesome! I wonder if you'll notice it's missing in the end?
I was wondering the same thing. It doesn’t look all that empty in there with her gone.
We are thinking through different options for the next grow. Like how many more weeks in veg to reduce plant numbers? We were thinking about 1 or 2 plants only..with a couple autoflowers in tow.

Lots of combinations fit. Plants have a way of finding all the room in the tent.

I’m really finding its two totally different experiences.
It’s strange how growing the same plant two ways can be so similar and so totally different at the same time.

Update: 3 weeks since flip for these ladies

Also smelling amazing!!

It’s been amazing to watch the difference every day!
The light really is amazing, and I’m not having too much trouble keeping temps good either.

Great progress Kanda! That 3 week pic is awesome!
Thanks!
I find myself just hanging out waiting for the lights to go on so I can see them lol
I’ve been working mostly night shifts lately, so lights on at 5 and I leave for work at 615...take pics so I can check them out good over night if I get a break.

Great looking plants, Kanda! I love your set-up. :Rasta:

I am so grateful to have a chance to grow with this light and am lucky I have a hubby that enjoys building things.

Yeah, the light looks pretty awesome and the hubby does quality work! You're under a lot of pressure to do well and you're up to the task! :Rasta:

Update: 4 weeks flowering finished for the photoperiods. The smell is heavenly!

They seem to be filling in nicely and are building trichromes well now.

Temps in our area have been crazy hot. I ended up putting 2 oscillating tower fans (30”) in the tent and purchased a 50 pint dehumidifier for the room. My humidity was creeping up above mid 60’s and I didn’t like the idea of that.
I seem to be able to maintain high 50’s at this point with temps 68-78. There’s the two tower fans plus an6 inch blower across canopy and four 6 inch fans on the ground.
I am currently using a 4 inch infinity to suck air in and the 8 inch to vent. I currently only have to adjust the speed a couple notches on the big fan to adjust for day/night differences.

Thanks for stopping by!

Great job, keep it up. Liking your super soil recipe.
This years mix seems like a keeper so far. The outdoor plants in ground and bag are growing like crazy also.

Well whatever you did makes your plants look great ;) I'm going to copy your recipe later next year.
