Day 55

Bluecheese auto
I believe shes 22 days in flower.
Fed with 5 litres of week 3 bloom nutes at 1005ppm 6.3ph. Last watering was wednesday with plain ph water with no top up in between.
Also did some minor leaf removal today to expose some budsites, about 7 or so leaves. Not much for deficiencies expect one rust mark but hasnt gotten worse. Color is looking good, just wished i trained her as she is shape of a christmas tree.I would say for the most part shes pretty healthy, buds are developing steady.
I ran out Massive the pk booster for green planet today so will either have to pick up another pk booster or wait for bud explosion by GLN to be released in canada.

Day 57, day 24 flower update

No activity this morning but have noticed BC is no longer sleeping during lights on....she still perked up even during lights off, not sure what changed. Been removing 4-5 leaves daily for about 5 days now, most bud sites have better light exposure or maybe she liked the light a little higher, currently at 17" now. Color of AG is a little lighter than i want but i think thats strain related.

Acapulco Gold auto - watered today with 1150ppm. Bud size have increased pretty nicely since last watering. Currently watering every 5 days.

Bluecheese auto - last feed was sunday and felt light today so gave her just water with some rezin and vitamins. Watering about every 3-4 days

Both plants are doing surprisingly well, saw a couple leaves with tip burn but that was from previous weeks and also its not spreading so looks to all be under control. Quite happy with how things are coming along, next 4 weeks will sure be interesting!

Yeah, I mean a person could still get edibles in Alberta. They just weren’t regulated yet (or legal). I’ve actually got some gummys in my freezer lol, a friend from work gave me them for me letting him use my job box while I was off site.

@InTheShed hey man not sure if you've been to any local cannabis stores lately...i did and edibles are being sold at a max 10mg/pack around $13-$15 each! The employees at the store straight up said its a ripoff and not worth it one bit! Lol id say!!

Great job government on cannabis 2.0...you are about to keep the black market thriving even more now!

Damn! I seem to have fell behind!

I’m not much of an edible person anyways, so I prob won’t be buying any. I phoned our local dispensary the other day, and he said we’re about two weeks away from being able to get some concentrates, he said the vape pens will still be illegal but he said they’re working on it. I could care less about the vape pens, I’m just excited to be able to get some concentrates at ease! I mean, I always said support your local drug dealer, but shatter seems to be hard to come around. I must just be looking in all the wrong places lol

Day 62/ day 29 flower

I will be separating the post with bluecheese and acapulco on this one as I have some questions and would like to hear some opinions...one being @MrSauga autoflower specalist!

Acapulco Gold auto - fed her last night as well with 5 litres @ 1150ppm till runoff. There are a couple deficiencies but nothing too serious I dont think, may be a mag def? Also, looking at her underside and found some new bud growth from coming the bottom colas and started removing as they most likely will be popcorn buds so didnt want the plant to waste energy on those little buds.....not sure if this was wise as I am in week 4 of flower. Should I stop removing branches at this point?

Smell is coming through nicely, lots of trichomes with 2nd level buds fattening up. Not too much else to report.

Didnt remove any leaves or branches as all budsites are nice and exposed to the light. Same question as above though, should i stop all removals now that shes 4 weeks in flower

Hi 780...
treat autos the same as photos. If you're doing any defol you do it a week before flip for photos or between 15-21 days for autos. Doing it a week before you flip gives the plant time to bounce back for a healthy start to flower. Anytime after that you want to tuck leaves and branches. The next option is to wait 21 days after the flip(photos) or after pistils are present on autos which represents when the stretch stops approximately.

Normally if I'm going to do a defol I'll remove all the lower branches after the stretch that won't make it to the canopy. I try and leave as many fans on as possible becasue as the plant nears it's end it starts to pull from the fans instead of the media which is why some growers see the normal fade. The more you leave on the less fade you have assuming you have fed the plant correctly throughout it's life.

I must have missed the growth of another branch off the bottom branch or it happened in this last week or so....if that happens past the stage as you mentioned then just leave it be? Even if its going to give me less than desirable buds?
