I'm 17 years old and a junior in high school. I've struggled throughout my years in school. Each year was the same-- my grades were barely passing. I was put on different medications but nothing seemed to help. This past summer I began smoking marijuana. When school started I continued. , and my grades changed for the better. . But now I've been put on probation for something I did last summer that was alcohol-related. Once I started smoking, I found no reason to drink and quit. But now that I'm on probation and receive drug tests, I've had to quit smoking. My grades have returned have returned to the way they used to be, because I have too many thoughts running though my head to focus on one thing at a time. I'm also stressed -- not my "chill" self when I was smoking. My mind is like a traffic jam.
