With autos u want to transplant at 3-4 nodes and grow to the 5 and top to the 4 node, as soon as U can get the snips in there.

Yup, that's exactly how I treat them.

Oh and regarding the post, I've done a fair few 12/12 autos. The bigger strains turn out alright. Got a glueberry on just now that looks like about 5oz. Getting 21 days of 18/6 just now but other than that 12/12. Be 100-110 days from seed by the time she's done. Got a skunk auto in the same Res though and shell only have an oz or 2 at best and be finished a week or 2 beforehand.
Im a hydro grower though, we get much longer veg than soil. Probably hurt a lot more in the dirt I'd imagine. I generally get 2-3.5 Oz from 12/12s in 3gal fabrics with Coco.
