You can’t really compare HPS to LED. It’s mostly marketing. Look up Horticle Lighting Group on google.

I second that! Lol @Pennywise knows what's up the hlg lights are just amazing I spent all kinds of money on China box lights not that they dont work or have there purpose but the hlg I bought blows them all out of the water all I'm using from now on..
Prices are coming down a little also.

Yes, you’re looking for a light that’s Full Spectrum and can deliver enough intensity to cover your grow space. PPFD is far more important than knowing watts. PPFD = Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density. PPFD will tell you how much light energy the lamp will deliver.

Okay thank you, @Pennywise when you open your area do you see like a single drop of water every once in see a random drop of water on a leaf? Im assuming its like dew. Noticed some of the lower branches turning toward the side is that bc that arent getting enough light? Maybe turning toward the mylar for light?
Drops of water means high RH, I’d have to see a photo to see what the leaf is doing.

My t4 is the active intake I have it connected at the bottom of tent thru the duct opening.
These pics are of the hlg 100 it's one of there smaller lights but it will still veg 2x2 and flower 3x3 very bright.

@Pennywise if it was the light wouldnt it be at the top vs the bottom? I did do a rez change on sunday. I did start 12/12 as well do i maintain same light distance thru flower as i did with veg?

What pw said about the hlg lights. Can shave a few bucks off diy instead of the kits. I did when i switched over to them from the china lights.

Should have invested in the qb leds from the get instead now i have 3 china lights catching dust in the corner. Wish i knew the guys on here before i started buying lights back then.(last year)

@Mikesem420 that board is all white? Thought LED is blue or red, or full spectrum with a combo of both? Same question i askes penny you said the 100 will do a 2x2 and 3x3 for flower so does that mean i need to raise mine more now since ive flipped it.
That isn’t turning the leaves sideways.

Those leds are superior to the blurples X. There is a spectrum we just can't see it with the naked eye.
