Originally I was going to buy 2 narrow totes side by side and connect the refill rez via float valve, as you've mentioned, but decided on a larger main tote for a nice big plant. Which meant I needed a lower refill rez due to space limitations. Figured a fill and drain would work best to keep the water level stable.

I'll install the water pump and chiller tonight. Already added the fill valve higher up in hopes of a small waterfall effect to help add more oxygen.

My makeshift reflector "fence" while I use CFLs. Lol

This is the 3" foam top I'll be using to stick the 6" garden staples for my first flux attempt. Should help block the light from heating the totes.

You can say that again! I hope my little chiller works as I see it in my mind. Ive got it hooked up, just need the pump. Can't find the one I bought, check storage, nothing.

My wife may have tossed it with some trash "accidentally". Lol

I'll run to the hydro store tomorrow to grab a new one. It needs to be as quiet as possible. Any suggestions for my setup, roughly 8 gallons, still need to test how much I'll be using exactly.

I like the planning stage, so many ideas and options, but we def have to figure out the water temp stabilization.

Still hand feeding baby Catalina, will flip on the DeweyPonics as soon as her roots stretch.

Check it out, all setup in tent, minus the darn water pump, will fit right in between chiller and air pump.

That's it on the left.

States it can chill/heat up to 12 gallons. Perfect for my needs.

My res will probably be around 10 gals with the dewey misters.

Sweet, may work for your setup as well. They offer a 103W version. I would assume it can chill/heat more water?
