Good to be seen! I sure like the outdoor sativas. My season is short here and of course I want what I can't have. I plan on a northern lights and a pineapple chunk. Sometime in late may, early june we can start and go to late september maybe mid october.

Prepared to take some early testers of the super medical and some Cali Orange Super Lemon Haze

Lemon juice and bicarb at the ready with hot water
These plants are in the greenhouse so they need a wash

After doing some trimming of some lower branches and cutting the WHOLE Stitched Up Kush,I got a few samples

Outdoors is special. I'm going to try again this summer in a couple months.

Our growing season is pretty long.
If we plant outdoors in September, plants start flowering in February all the way through to September again.
So if I want to get strains to veg in the winter months I just veg them from around February indoors.
When I am happy with the growth I just pop them outside to flip and flower.

Update time
Starting with newbies
After seeing the Auto's on @stoneotter 's page I couldn't help myself and decided to give the Stitched up Kush auto's courtesy of @Smeegol, a try
Last time as I have no more seed

So the last three are in a shot cup in water

The little stitches went into water last night and all sank this morning
So I am hopeful from the start
I have not been at all successful with these buggers thus far
Holding thumbs cause I can

Yip. Heavenly climate where I am for growing.
Not heaven otherwise
General management of resources and finances are a nightmare.
Country is in true African crap .
I do have a Corona beer to share if anyone is willing to drink from my bottle.


Moving on

I have a couple of seeds in cups that haven't shown their heads yet and some tops I cut, in the seedling fridge.

They are sharing with a slow witted Cali Orange and just topped Cali Orange Super Lemon Haze.
From now on referred to as (COSLH)
In the ex flowering now vegging corner. In the green trunks we have 3 White Widows and 2 Northern lights .
A recently topped Cali Orange tries, unsuccessfully to tower above it's opponents
The Cali Orange straight should not be confused with the COSLH

I somehow neglected to give a weather report.
It's raining. Been raining since last night.
The light isn't the best in the greenhouse but I took some pics anyway
Starting with anything that has lemon in it
For some reason whatever strain I've grown with lemon in it, has burnt leaf tips
All the plants have the same soil mix but the lemons. .. But the lemons
Anyway. The lemons

A supposed super medical strain
Doesn't look like much but those little buds are fruity and strong in aroma
Then two lemon somethings
These two have been in the greenhouse so long they have revegged and are flowering again

The leaf tips burnt
Then last of the lemons. This is a COSLH but it has lemon so some burnt tips

At last I get to the Durban Poison

Looking healthy and showing some nice growth on the buds
the pistols are short but really furry
Then some straight Cali Orange

the latest addition to the greenhouse
Transplanted around a week ago and has taken nicely
I haven't seen any sign of sex yet.

And a CA transplanted into the greenhouse around 4 weeks ago

She has shown great growth and is around 2 weeks into flowering

Another CA transplanted around 5 weeks ago

Both these CA's look healthy and happy
I expect good results from these girls

As for the other plants
They are all plants that got rescued from the flowering cupboard, changed back to a vegging cupboard
Voted most likely to come back from delinquency

These need support
I am trying to convince myself that the buds are thicker but it could be more sight of hope than anything else.
They have been in the greenhouse for a week or so now.

Nice! I had a strawberry cough that acted like your lemons. I couldn't figure how to make her happy. She grew ok but not gangbusters.

Whenever I have grown the lemons they give me burnt tips.
If there's a next time I'll try a different soil combination
