USA - Kennewick, WA--A barking dog helps police find a marijuana growing operation inside a Kennewick home Wednesday morning.

Police were called to 704 West 43rd Avenue because of a complaint of an aggressive dog.

When officers arrived, they found an open front door and no response from anyone, so then went inside to see if anyone was in trouble.

What they found were about 24 pot plants growing in two closets and several smoking devices.

"Shortly after officers discovered the marijuana grow the two residents came home and were taken into custody. There's a third outstanding at this point," said Officer Lee Cooper of the Kennewick Police Department.

The two people arrested are 29-year old Dieter Redweik and 23-year old Autumn Moore.

They now face charges for manufacturing marijuana.

Police didn't release the name of the third suspect, however they do know of his whereabouts.
