Air pump for dwc

Hi im just starting up my own dwc project using 4, 20 litre buckets to grow and a 50 litre main reservoir.
My question is, is this air pump the right one Oase Aquaoxy 4800 CWS. Yes it puts out 4,800 l/h and from what ive seen on some forums people say use the best air pump u can, the more air the better they will grow better at leased that's what im lead to believe, just looing for some clarification

I have never used those pumps in particular but if you can afford them they seem to have the qualifications needed for your application.

If there is too much air it will harm the roots of the plants. If the water looks like it's boiling and churning that may be too much for your plants delicate roots.

Just my .02 cents. I've done several DWC grows and use a pump that does a little less than 500 liters per hour in a 5 gallon bucket. I am using a 3 gallon bucket right now and it's fine it that too.

The one your looking at can be turned down, I suggest you get it and if it makes the water too violent at full blast just turn it down a little.
