Thanks Yeah if I brush my arm against a bud I can smell it easy. I'm kind of surprised that they're going this long; hope it isn't because I went from 11/13 to 11.5/12.5 after about the halfway point of flower. It's been 11 weeks and 3 days since the flip, which would be 10 weeks since first hairs. And they're still going.

Seems they never finish as the breeders say. That is a long time for the AK47s every grow is differerent. Those Ak47 girls are beautiful and as long as they are still putting on new white hairs, let 'em rock! I had one go 70 days in 12/12 in my last grow. She kept growing bud so I let her go at it.

Damn kinda upset that I caught this journal so close to the end.... Well let me rephrase that... Stoked that I found your journal looks like some amazing fruits of your labor.... Sad because I wish I could have followed along with this grow lol. that looks like some amazing 47.... I remember smoking AK48 in Amsterdam I am guessing its pretty close to the same thing and some dank ass bud I wont forget. Congrats!!!

Thanks can't wait to try it Everybody thinks the world of this strain and the yield is really good. I'll probably be pulling these for their 48 hour dark period tomorrow; I've got a grouping of plants (breeding project) I have to get going, and I need the room in another unit. I could crowd the other two plants from there into this unit, but it would be tight.

You do the dark period before chopping? I had tried that in the past. I didn't notice any difference except that it was harder to trim the limp plants. What benefits do you get? I'm not arguing, but re-exploring. That used to be "the thing to do" years ago.

The smell is almost always better when I do a dark period, and everything I've read says that it increases the potency.

No dark period either. But I do read it has definite results.

They are doing just fine. Don't call her ugly, she is beautiful. I flush and don't feed the last couple weeks of flower. They will eat their leaves and you will have smooth nitrogen-free bud. That what we do. If you want last day "Bud Porn Pics" then you're gonna have harsh bud. I think they look great at this point. It's harvest time.
