Is it an illusion or am I seeing a whirly psychotaxi (whorled phylotaxy ) on the Master Hemp?

I had to look it up so what do I know, but is it Blueberry? She's been a Strange Little Girl (take your pick: Tori Amos or The Stranglers) from the beginning. She's the one that had all the bunched growth in the middle and looked like she topped herself. When I let that grow a bit and bent them they spread out nicely and she's filling up in the middle now.

The clones look great. Think I’m seeing fresh growth. Think it will be safe to take off the domes? It’s day nine.

you need to take the domes off gradually... lift up a corner and let it get used to that for a few hours... then a little wider... the plants will not be able to handle sudden acclimation into the normal dry air.

Well it was the Master Hemp i thought i saw one on. But I’ll go back for a look at the Blueberry and see.
The MH branch I see is in this pic - the branch in the bottom corner.

Could be a trick of the angle. I didn’t see any one the Blueberry but it’s a little hard to tell.

The Candida I’m growing right now is doing it on pretty much every branch now - it’s where you get 3 leaves and 3 shoots at each node instead of 2. As the plant reaches maturity and the nodes become alternate, the whorled phylotaxys spiral up the stem.

How far away do you think yu are to flipping the lights? Or moving into the “flower tent” ? We’ll be flowering at close to the same time. I think I’ll be making the switch in a week or so.

I'll get a closer peek in a bit at that branch.

Keep in mind this is my first grow, but I'm thinking in 1-2 weeks they'll be begging to be flipped. I'm hoping to let the middles fill in and then I'll be ready.

Sounds about right! I’ll probably be a week ahead of you.

The feature I can see on that branch is that there is 2 leaves that seem to be grouped in a more triangular friendly orientation to one another, rather than being exactly opposite. Like I said, couple be an illusion

I thought at first you were talking about Blueberry because of (after a little research) what appears to me to be a rosette phyllotaxi. I don’t know if that falls under whorly or not.

@Tangled and I enjoyed spending a little time at the tent tonight. We remembered our fear/anxiety with never having done this before compared to the luscious plants in our tent and hoped our good fortune continues.

A couple of the domes fell off so I sprayed and put them back on. Will recheck in the morning.

Not an illusion

Okay - I was seeing it! It’ll be intersecting to see how all these grow out. We have them on different plants to compare now. I’ve read round the internet about it a little bit and see a variety of perspectives from ‘they wont flower properly’, to ‘they’ll produce more bud’. Just gotta wait and see I guess. I do hope it’s ok because my entire CD-1 is like it. Same genetic pool as the MH too.

I think it does actually. I hadn’t noticed it on the Blueberry but I sure can in those recent pics you posted. That one has been a funky kid all along. Gotta love the mutants! Sometimes they turn out to be the star, and they’re always entertaining.
