Some monitors don't show the shading on the alert messages when you click the bell icon in the upper right, which tells me which ones are unread. This is a major pain because when easily visible it's a breeze to scroll down through and get caught up. There's a green icon in the lower right corner of each message but it's only visible during a mouse over event.
Please change the shading color to make it more visible. It should be an easy change and will make a huge difference on how I and others catch up on unread content.
Monitor settings may help visibility, like contrast and/or viewing angle, but better UI design would be the preferred solution.
