Another noob question, 12/12 with autos

I’m currently growing photo period plants with an auto in the same tent, the photo period plant is reaching the height limit for the tent and needs the be switched over to a 12/12. The auto plant just started to flower. The question is, how would switching over to a 12/12 cycle effect a autoflower?

It will hurt the size and yield of an auto by running less hours of light. You're going to have to make a decision on which plants are more important. Sounds like tent height is an issue with the photos, so I'm guessing you'll just have to accept what the auto does under 12/12.

Reduce light, and yield will go down.

I have read auto's need 18/6 so yes it will hurt your auto a little but you have to take care of your other girls have you tried LST to bring them down so you can veg longer

I do it all the time I throw them in it will effect yield but they will still flower very nice and I couldn’t tell it from the ones I ran 18/6 as far as smoking goes.
