Anton Olver Invited To Join Cannabis Party

New Zealand - The Aotearoa Leagalise Cannabis Party today announced that they have formally invited ex-All Black Anton Oliver to stand for the party. Oliver is considering his options after signaling his intention to enter politics. The ALCP believe that Mr Oliver would fit well in the party, due to his strong ecological principles and business ethics. His Oxford background would also set him up well for a political career with the ALCP, who have agreed to offer Oliver a top ranking position on the party list, in return for his endorsement.

Mr Oliver is stunned at the proliferation of intensive dairy farming in New Zealand and is concerned about the impact of these farms on the environment. The introduction of Hemp Farming initiatives is the ideal solution to this problem.

Regulating and taxing cannabis, New Zealand's third favourite drug, would add over a Billion dollars to the economy annually, making Cannabis Law Reform a huge political issue in New Zealand.
