anyone know the scene in Italy? (Tuscany)

Hi all,
Ive got a couple of friends that have just moved to Italy on a year long course. Theyre normally fairly regular smokers (and speak reasonable italian) but they both say that they havent met any other smokers since theyve been there... I know it can be a little awkward bringing up weed, especially if your new somewhere so I said id give them a shout out on here and see if there was anyone else whos spent any time in Italy(they are both in the tuscany region). Are there any tricks to essentially meeting stoners in Italy? Are there any bits of protocol which they should know etc etc.

No matter that no one could help... both have met some local stoners since i made this thread. I think that both are relying on brits out there to hook them up, which is a bit of a shame considering they both need to improve their italian but still im sure its a route through which they can meet some italians.
