Are my girls ready to harvest?

Hi everyone!
Long time reader, first time poster. I’m wondering if my girls are ready (or nearly) ready for harvest.

2 x royal cheese
2 x zilky zmooth

they’ve been in flower for 7 weeks, trichs look cloudy to me but hairs are still mostly white.

First grow so any feedback is much appreciated!

Agreed. Ideally most of the trichs should be cloudy with a few "over ripe" amber ones. Best way to check is a cheap jeweler's loupe with a little light built in (less than $10 on the internet)

I thought as much, getting impatient but the last little leg will be worth it.

I will look into getting a loupe. Will it work under lights?

absolutely but the little light built into the loupe is a big help too! You'd be surprised how much of a shadow your head casts on the buds when you're standing so close

I like using pics to view the trichs, they don't move. I take a close clean shot and zoom in on my desktop monitor. The pics you posted look good, you can zoom/enlarge in on those or newer ones as you go they show the color and clarity well. They are getting there.
