Argyle & Bakerstreet Strain: Gov Seed From Tweed, Hydro DWC

I was quite surprised at how tall they had gotten for Indicas also. They are government purchased seeds like yours
I haven’t measured but I need a small ladder to check the tops...if they aren’t 8 ft they are certainly headed that way.
There is a California Orange in the same garden just a bit taller than those.

Hahaha. Too funny . 8 ft ! Egads ..
So I was avoiding the tent all day because I’m in denial with how much carnage I caused and took another 4 broken stems

Dipped them in clonex and dirt .. if they live c’est lay vie if not .. 4 solo cups out

Love the cloning NH way to make something out of nothing. If you care at all about them and it is possible they will root much better inside under a T5 or led. The sun will kill them at that stage. On the floor of your tent may work as well. If there is any space left lol.

Thanks , I completely agree
I want to keep all dirt out of the tents .. if I had time and space I have a 2x2 and a spare led but honestly I’m just fu*king around .. they will giddy up or meet their fate - sigh-
you are so helpful thank you !

Put them to the test. If they go it a serious thumbs up to you and the genetics. After seeing @Kanda s plants anything is possible lol.

Came home to 4.6 ph on both . I dunno wtf ..I hope my ph probes arn't at the end of life
both got flushed with 2 liters of non ph'd water and some ph up.
I knew I over fed them but holy hell they were cranky! I just love how responsive they are thou ..and too much wind burn running larger than I'd like fans to control now , 62% humidity .
Pics tomorrow ⏰

I think next year I’ll start these government seed indoors and finish out . One got plain water , the other got the run off from the other . And both needed ph up again.
Seem like they are still stretching but Bud sites are finally starting . I’m going to guess at least another 2 months min to finish if they stop stretching soon !
Patience is a virtue

Anyone know of you can pop a flowering hydro plant (3 weeks) into soil ?

Nah. I youtubed it and the roots are so big that I’d have to cut my baskets off.
Wish I had read a journal about these beans before I started to grow them indoors.
IMHO - PSA
The only 2 strains that have been avail to the public via the gov’t in BC to grow (ARGYLE AND BAKERSTREET) are outdoor strains .. or require at least 10 ft of head room . ✌️

I should have said to be kept natural and free to grow .. probably a higher yield and less frustration with some training or a scog .

Hey @Northern Hydro ... It was nice to see other Bakerstreets growing. My plants are small but I found out why just this week. The lights I got were not very powerful. I was following @Emilya 's thread and she was researching LUX light values, so I decided to get a cheap light meter too.

When I checked my LUX values, I found out I had my plants under very low intensity light so I moved the lights from 21 inches down to 12 inches ... I was way off!

I actually put my clones in the window to get light, and they sprung up ... in one day!

I'm just glad I found out about my light intensity mistake in early bloom!

Alright ... ttyl

Omg ..that is hilarious . I also had/ have light issues and bought a meter to test the tent .. so damn busy thou I haven’t even unboxed it yet !

The girls need nothing today .
I suspect the outdoor one has spider mites . I’ll shop for a spray this weekend.
Shocked at the difference in stem size between the argyle and bakerstreet .. SIGNIFICANT difference even if the pics don’t really show it.
Close up of hairs is for @SQl2kGuy of the bakerstreet .. Argyle is wayyy A head of her and will likely finish first.

Argyle needed a bucket change , Bakerstreet likely tomorrow .
Took my time and undid the zippers instead of squeezing her in an out .
I’m glad they are not too bushy because there is no way they are getting enough light .
I have essentially done zero defoil except whatever I broke or died.

Next Bakerstreet run I’m thinking ONE inside mother and 3 outdoor clones . Going to be a long wait until spring .. maybe I can squeeze a mystery seed run in between ;)
Namaste !

Hey I hope all is well. I seem to have stopped getting notifications for your journal. Squeeze the seed run in there if you can because between fall, winter and spring you can pull down bumper crops. For me in my environment summer requires the most work to keep the environment in in check. It is also the most expensive few months to run my grow. I know it’s not the same across the board For everyone but if time, money, and space r available why not lol. Anyways plants look great and you have some amazing buds stacking up there for you. Looks like you have a very busy tent over there and you r doing a great job of keeping your plants healthy Play safe.

Thanks KC! I missed ya ..I went dark too..who knows eh?
my PH is dropping like a mofo on both .. I think lack of adequate light and space. They each need another 2 ft . I should have trained them too. Hindsight is 20/20
I think the outdoor one might be over ripe crazy enough. Waiting for it to dry out to take a good look at it . It’s a throwaway I plan to heat/press to see what may come :ganjamon:

I too am from Canada (BC) and back on the 17th October I tried to order seeds when they flipped the web site on. No seeds to be had. I complained to the government web site and they told me they were working hard to procure seeds. I told them they have known for months if not years this legalization thing would happen and they had failed. With that I emailed the Premier of BC and told him of my complaint. Told him I knew this day was coming and have spent a lot of cash to prepare for it with lights, tent, fans, switches, nutrients, buckets, pumps for water and air. I told him he can easily refuse to respond and I would take that as an OK to procure seeds from Crop King. Guess what, No response so we got seeds. Been wondering how govt. seeds stack up. My complaint with them is no real info or even if they are feminized. Good on you for trying. Maybe one day govt. will have better offerings.

I wouldn't bother with anything from them, they've got their tax dollars now. Mayswell get a new strain from a breeder with a good reputation instead of rolling 3-4 month dice on an unknown strain.

My girls,
