U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested three suspected marijuana smugglers Sunday at the Port of Lukeville.
According to CBP, officers arrested two women -- ages 23 and 24 -- as well as a 16-year-old girl from Glendale when they tried to smuggle 185 pounds of marijuana through the port.
Officers found the drugs after a canine-aided search of the Volkswagen sedan in which the suspects were riding.
Officers seized the drugs and vehicle, and referred the suspects to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
