Oklahoma State forward Marshall Moses is facing three misdemeanor complaints.

Moses, a junior on the men's basketball team, was arrested for allegedly driving under a suspended license and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to Stillwater police Deputy Chief Ron Thrasher.

The Payne County District Attorney's Office hadn't filed formal charges against Moses as of this morning.

Moses was arrested at 12:06 a.m. Monday as a result of a traffic stop near McElroy and Perkins roads. Thrasher said arresting Officer Adam Elliott stopped Moses when he allegedly saw the driver weave in and out of lanes and make an improper turn.

The officer reported smelling marijuana coming from the car, Thrasher said. A small amount of marijuana allegedly was recovered from the car, Thrasher said, but a police report on the incident didn't indicate how much.

The car Moses was driving, a silver 2002 Nissan Altima, was impounded. Moses was booked into the Payne County Jail at 8:37 a.m. Monday but was freed at 9:30 a.m. on a personal recognizance bond, said Justin Henninger, a sergeant at the Payne County Jail.

Men's basketball coach Travis Ford announced Monday Moses will be suspended for one game because of a violation of team policy. OSU hosts Coppin State tonight at 7. Moses leads the Cowboys with 10.2 rebounds per game and is averaging 11.2 points per game. Moses did not return phone calls to the NewsPress.
