I'm back for another grow
This grow is already a month in and I have had some fantastic results with the Mars Hydro Reflector series 48.
I have just added an additional 450w of led power today for the final month of bloom.

Update: Day 34

Looking great, twice the size of my last grow at this age (same strain).

I'm taking full advantage of the winter temps and utilising two LED's that I have with no extraction needed.

Update - LONG OVERDUE!
Sorry for the delay, I lost my photos of the late stage of the grow, I have however found some of the photos I took minutes before harvest,
I dont however have the harvest pics unfortunately... not yet anyway.
Anyway heres the fat bitch right at the end.

Thanks man, much appreciated.
for this grow I left the light at exactly the distance you see in the last pic, that tent is only 1 metre tall, so i hung the light directly on the cross bar in the top of the tent with no ratchet hanger, so as a seedling it was about 15 inches then at the end of flower the plant had grown up to the height, putting the distance between the light and plant at about 5 inches and she friggin loved it btw.
That hopefully explains it mate, feel free to shoot me any further questions.

My light is around 12inches above the canopy but after seeing your results I reckon I'm going to lower it to the same height lol!

I got a couple of other questions if you could spare a moment:

During flowering do you run the light on flower mode only or do you run it full spectrum (veg & flower) together?

Also, what soil did you use? (And did you use nutrients with it?)

Can you link me toy our journal man? I'd like to follow along,
12 inches is good mate, the older they get the more tolerant they become, also you only want the light closer if you can water whenever is needed, so dont go away for more than 2-3 days (depending on pot size).
In flower I always use both spectrums (veg & bloom), I usually switch on the bloom spectrum aright when i see pistils, take a look at the current grow at the top of my signature for a better look, ill take a photo of my current light distance and upload it in my next update.
For the soil, i used premium potting mix and perlite, probably 70% dirt and 30% perlite, works great, iv used that with a mix of coco too and they loved it, im also using full nutrients for both grow and bloom, I use a Growth technology 2 part hydroponic grow nutrient and a CYCO platinum series 2 part bloom nutrient as well as a cal/mag supplement and some OZIMAGIC monstabud as a tonic/additive.
You'll see the results in my current journal.

I'm using General Hydroponics Flora Series & CalMag with the ole 1-2 (monstabud/ozi-tonic) and Kool Bloom added during flower.

I'll defo do a grow journal next run, have got some decent strains to test out.


Oh, yea I've lowered the lights a bit and I turned the "veg" lights back on as well

Yea, cheers man.

Yea, the LED on flowering mode only is yielding better results than the 250w HPS and that's even with a new bulb in it.

Going to replace with with an LED before the next lot that's for sure.

I'll let ya know how this lot pulls up anyway
