Avgjoes LED vs T5 Veg Grow

Welcome everyone as I try an experiment that I have not done before and compare different light spectrums and how they grow for my setup.I usually veg with 700+ watts of 4' T5s(6500k) 54 watts per bulb in a 5' x 4' area.
The LED is a 420 mag sponsor(Big thanks to 420 Magazine for this forum) running at 540 watts in a 4'x4' Sun hut.
First I will post pics of the plants in the LED tent on their first week of veg (18hrs on)

I started 8 clones total 4 for the T5s and 4 for the LEDs from the pic above at the top right going clockwise we have Cinderella 88-99,Panama Princess,NL5,and Apricot Cush.All 8 were planted at the same time so I could compare growth rates.I tied a white string on the plants in T5 growth so I can keep track of them all.

Heres the NL5s after 10 days(T5 has the string)

My hope in this experiment is to reduce electric costs while increasing plant size and this is what I've noticed in less then 3 weeks,the plant stems under the LED are double in size compared to the T5s,root ball is almost doubled as well.This has surprised me
The LED is a G8 900 running 540 watts and its beating out my 700 watt T5 setup,so I gotta give kudos to Dorm Grow,your making me a believer

Im seeing a big difference between my 2 veg gardens.The G8 900 LED is giving me way more branching on all 4 plants so far and the fact that their growing a lot faster under the G8 has me amazed,hats off to G8

6 weeks in and we're almost ready to move the G8LEDs in bloom in a cpl of weeks,that
will be a sep journal.This is a blowout as far as competing against my old tried and true T5 setup.
