BabyTrees First Grow!

Hello everyone!
I've been back seating y'all's grows for probably two years or so, I purchased my setup about a year ago and tried a run and they all died instantly but one, which I over watered.
Since then i put everything away till about a month and a half ago when I ordered some seeds online and popped a bagseed to do a test run with, so far so good
So this is a SMALL stealth grow in a 2x2x4, I'm going to be running 3 plants (one may get moved out)
A 300W mars hydro like 3-5 inches from the plant to keep her hella short
The seeds I purchased were Northern lights (SOUTHERN OREGON)
And Blue Mystic (Nirvana seed)
I have my bag seed which is quite a big girl so far, she's about 10 inches and will be topped when I get home
I'm running the fox farm like, bloom, grow big, and tiger, also have Cha ching, and open sesame,
I do have cal mag I haven't used it yet though
The soil I'm using is Sun Gro and seems like really good soil.
For the time being I'm going to post all the pictures of my big girl that I have and try to get them in order to the best of my ability to get y'all caught up, hopefully it adds them in order, my first pic I could find of my big girl was Jan 21st

I don't understand haha! I've gone to adding them one by one

Yay thanks for showing up! All tips and pointers welcome I'm brand new to growing and can use all the help I can get. Glad I decided to make one of these was curious if it'd get some people following along.
Don't know if I should start LST when I swap to flower? I did minimal LST when she was littler and since than I've just been tucking the leaves behind what could maybe? Be bud sites. Here's what she looks like after I get done tucking typically.
Do y'all do any defoliating? I have not defoliated at all I've removed two leaves this entire grow because they were crumbled from probably not having nutes in her diet soon enough

Hi Baby Trees, nice to see you here. here's how I approach lst most times.
When the plant has between 4 and 6 nodes I top them. Topping may not be considered lst?
As the two new tops come, maybe a week, I start to train them to lay horizontal with pipe cleaners hooked around the stem and anchored to the rim of the pot. As the new tops grow out to the sides of the pot the other branches will be growing up. As they get to the top level, they too get a pipe cleaner hooked over and drawn down to make the plant have a level overall top (or canopy). The pic shows the plant with a fairly flat canopy ready for me to decide how tall the branches should grow before I flip the light to 12/12.
There's as many ways to approach this as there are people. This is how I see it today.

Thanks for the tips, speaking of topping I just snipped her little head off :( makes me sad taking scissors to her, she was 11 inches.

That LST looks great, I may start when i toss her into flower! I did it very briefly you can kind of notice it in some photos I bent her over for a bit to keep her height down than I got told to not worry about that, my light being so close would do the trick at keeping her short, but from my understanding LST will bring more light to the canopy inturn bringing more tree!

Update got home and my NL was dead, she looked brown so I moved some soil around and somehow her stem was broken which doesn't make much sense cause I barely covered her in soil!
This is my second NL that died .. freaking bummer
Fed my little blue Mystic girl 2 tsp of big bloom into a gallon and gave her just a bit, we'll see how she takes too it over the next few days! Pumped to be feeding so soon to see the difference

They're from southern Oregon, I've heard good stuff and they have a lot of reputable seed sellers on their site, hopefully I can get one going hoping it was just the soil cause I re used it after my other NL, we shall see. I'm really hoping on my mystic and my bag seed to pull thru! I'm not cloning the bag seed but I will the mystic. My free seeds were Cali Orange both orders so I got 6 free. I've yet to pop em but I may if NL keeps messing around! Haha

Okay guys I'm not sure if y'all need daily updates as not much is happening so far but I'm checking on them so here ya go <3 little stretch on the mystic she seems to be okay with the amount of nutes I gave her, I didn't take big girl out of her tent today just letting her be so she doesn't get mad I cut her little head :(

On closer examination it looks like my big girl has a lot of curling up on her upper leaves is that from my light? I'd like to note, since a few weeks in she has had a bit of purpling on the stem, I'm not sure if it spread or if it was always there as I normally check her out under the LED briefly each day.
I just read this issue could be CAL mag, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh hot damn! That was quite the stretch on the first photo’d plant. Do you have a small fan in the grow area?

you can add more pictures at a time if you upload your photos to the member gallery first. Then once saved. Your photos will be in the lil camera icon in the bar above the text box. :thumb:

Hey thanks I'm trying it's my first grow so next time I'll probably train harder and see what I can get out of it. Very happy with how she looks being a random seed I had on my rolling tray. and thanks for swinging by! She looks great aside from the little taco stuff she's got going on I'll raise the light. I have to be weary of my space though. My tents quite small and its only a 300W
So I've got a fan over the past few days I tossed it so it was directly on her instead of just on the top of her so she can get a nice breeze thru her canopy, I'll go ahead and raise up my light a few inches my goal was a foot before flipping, but if she's having any issues id be a bit nervous to flip.

Okay, so kinda had to think up a way to get the light higher without strapping it to a final spot so I've kinda made it work it's not the most even thing in the world it's got a slight gangsta lean I cant quite fix but I think it'll do just fine eh?
