but on that note, damn he had a brilliant performance with those two flicks. really pulled it off. i had my doubts before the first one, but dayum he lit it up.

I’ve been a King fan since the late 70’s when he did his short stories under the pseudonym Richard Bachman.

I use ol Tom Collins’ schtick fairly often. Someone will open the door, and I’ll give em a good dose of... “M O O N... that spells your mom!”


What I find wild is when you run across someone that just can’t stand King, thinking it’s all blood and guts horror, but they love Shawshank and/or The Green Mile. Yet have no clue they’re King’s work.

I keep waiting for a few particular stories out of Skeleton Crew to be turned into films. Maybe someday.
