Hello 420 Magazine!

So I was not going to do much between now and March, but yesterday decided to pop the two HSO Blue Dream seeds I found in my buds and a Hollands Hope seed into a glass of water. All three seeds had cracked open this AM.
So I have popped them into Root Riots sunken into Plagron Growmix and into my make shift Tupperware propagator on top of my modem; now let's see what happens.

The daytime weather has been mild over the last week so I thought why not see what happens - I think I could grow all year round here outside and this will put that question to rest once and for all. I will have them under the starter CFLs until about 3 weeks and then will harden them off for a week or so before abandoning them to their fate outside.

WOOHOO! I'm not the only early starter! I'm proud that you created a journal so we can see how they're doing. Blue Dream grown outdoors can produce some monstrous buds. May your harvest be plentiful.

Yeah you should be able to grow all year outside if on cold nights you could bring them in it would help with them slowing down the growth a bit.

It is a bit isn't it? I hope at least one other seedling makes it. I wanted a break until March, but my husband and I are beginning to get the feeling that the herb we have grown in cooler weather seems to have a more complex terpene profile than those grown 'in season' let's see how it goes....

I never noticed anything different in the strength of the smoke but I did notice a huge size difference I think the off season ones grew larger due to the fact it stretched out a bit actually giving it more light spread out instead of it getting to "much light" and staying short.

The three plants that I have grown off season - Budha Magnum, ASD and Blue Dream have been absolutely great smoke.....the BD and the ASD stayed short appx a metre but delivered dank bud. Perhaps it's just a coincidence....

How is life with you? I trust your New Year has started positively.

I wanted a break this whole year. I was so confident last year that I would have more than enough smoke to last me a year and a half. Yeah right. :/ But I did notice my best grow was at this time, bigger buds. I messed up when it started raining and I was in a position where I couldn't bring them in so I tried putting plastic bags over them and molded them in no time flat.

Thanks for the compliment, yours is looking fine, too. We could be finishing together.

We have enough smoke to last until June/July, but if I could get into a situation where my multi plant grows are done off season, and in Season I just grow one Auto followed by one photo that would suit me much better. So many people about in the Summer, so much heat and business wise so much work....

Outdoors it should flower around 10 weeks. It depends on the high you like. I am more of a 50/50 trichomes clear to amber. Yes sir I am medicated. lol

So looks like I'm making some canna butter and canna coconut oil from the frozen bottom branches of the Portela and the Hollands Hope. I am experimenting with a zero odour water bath and mason jar system, it's been cooking for 1 hr. I have been having problems posting replies and since yesterday have been trying to post a picture without success.
