First let me start by saying around a year or so ago I use to post on here. Since then I had a run in with CSA ( child services ) because I use marijuana as a pain remedy for a broken neck from a number of years ago.
Anyways that outa the way I recently started growing again. I moved set up a new grow area for myself and as off Oct 31 2016 I had to little seedlings going again.
I don't have pics from when they first sprouted unfornetly but this is a pic when I transplanted from there 1 gallon home to there 5 gallon final pot.
From this point for me it was just trying to remember how to grow. Trying to turn your brain back on after a year of not growing is not as easy as you think. I can say I started back up with my 4' - 4' - 6.5' grow tent. I'm using a 400 watt digital ballast. An 18" ocilating fan, a carbon filter withan Inline fan for exhaust. My grow medium is HP pro mix.
I do enjoy training my girls for an optimal yield so I personally enjoy working with both LST and a Scrog setup. Though LST slows growth a small bit my new girls took extremely well to it.
One thing I should mention is I did start these ladies out under CFLS befor setting them under the 400 watt.
I'm not the biggest fan of using CFL's, they do work.

Mind you they didn't stay under the CFLs for long. I soon moved them under my 400 watt, which I had dimmed down by 25% so they were utilizing 300 watts. They honestly took well to this ( obviously ) and exploding with fresh new growth. Both ladies were topped only once. Also when they moved under the 300 watts.
Since the start of this grow I have trimmed excess leafs of twice and work on Lst based on growth during the given week. Again both ladies have taken well to this. With Lst both girls are sitting around the 14 to 16 inch mark in hight. Come January first I'll more then likely start to slowly switch the light cycle to 12 and 12. At this point I will also lolly pop both plants.
