Hi my name is William,
April 2017

I have just started my first grow and I have found this community forum to be a great help towards the planning of my grow,
Thank you,

My grow is 120x80x160 (3x2x5)
Fans - Rhino 5 inch fan + carbon filter, a 5 inch inline intake fan with filter.

9 inch oscillating fan (one extra will be added when the plants are bigger above and below canopy)

Dehumidifier outside tent (average RH 55% in my area so I might not need the dehumidifier on much)

Lights - 2x 300w Viparspectra LED's
bucket Size - 3x 5 gallon (currently in propagation chamber)
Heating - small tube heater (it hovers between 21 - 30 degrees in the tent/ propagation chamber)
RH 75% - 99% (is 99% bad)
Medium - Seedlings in 4 inch rock wool and are being air pruned in the chamber before I transfers into coco.
Nutrients - FloraNova Grow/Bloom, PK 13/14, Monster Grow, Cal mag, Epsom salt,
RO water achieving 40ppms

Strain(s) 2
2x Blue Cheese
80% indica : 20% Sativa
1 x Pineapple Chunk
80% indica : 20% Sativa

Currently on 80ppms of cal mag and 100ppms of Nova grow (180 - 200 PPM's feed)

I think I have given them to much water in there first couple days (rock wool surface is damp and one of the first leafs is dropping) I am following the Lucus formula as my guide but I cannot find much info on watering seedling in rock wool during the early stages. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not sure how to upload pictures but I am working on it.

Hi, William. :)

I have used 4 inch rockwool to start my both of my girls. I watered once a day. I soaked the cube and let it drip out. No squeezing. After I counted several roots coming out of the bottom, I moved to coco and continued watering/feeding once a day. You can see what I did in my white widow auto journal. :)

Rockwool holds onto a lot of air for the roots if given adequate drainage. I doubt you're drowning them.

I haven't fed the lady's today, the top of the rockwool is still damp and I believe I am seeing signs of overwatering because of droopy leafs

This is Day 3, 18/6 hour light cycle.

This morning day 4, there is a clear top dog out of the lady's which is the first one (blue cheese) then pineapple chunk in the middle and the last one is also blue cheese,

I am planning on topping only one time and doing super cropping.

I am aiming for 10oz dry weight which I think is a "slightly low" estimation. Only time will tell.

Update they are now planted in 22L airbags in coco after two weeks air pruning, LED light is off for the photos,

They might have a small cal mag deficiency, I have now increased cal mag from 100ppms to 150ppms I round up from my base ppm reading of 40-70ppms (that is out of my RO water filter so I'm not that impressed with it)

40 days old, two have been topped and one plant is lagging behind,
all have been pruned at stages
Supper cropping and topping last plant soon, then flipping the light cycle to 12/12

Hope all is well in your world.

How did this grow turn out?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?

If you need any help with posting photos, please read our Photo Gallery Tutorial.

I am moving this to Abandoned Journals until we get updates.

Sending you lots of love and positive energy.
