Best ph for Drip Hydroponic System

I have a water farm and I have read several post with various ph ranges. I see a hydro ph of 5.2 to 5.8 as best some places and 5.8-6.8 in others.I see both in the instructional videos..anyone have a sure fire answer or should i just try to keep it around 6.0

There are variations because ph needs vary at different stages of a plants growth. If you decided on a ph of 6 as a default, you would not have problems.

thanks moose. after reading so much i think the hydro range of between 5.2 and 5.8 will be best.
