so last night i went to go to the bathroom (have to pass my grow room door) and noticed light peaking through.... the lights wert sopost to be on tho till morning,,,,, so i find out that the timer got pushed against a beam support and turned the timer on for 2-4 hr time frame before i woke up to find it f'ed up...... i added 2 hrs to there dark and turned them off but i think they got up to 2-3 solid hrs with 2 1000w lights on X o i hope this doesnt hermi them seeeing they are soo close to finishing !

Dont worry too much my friend i think they'll be just fine, if it was only a few hours and if you caught it the first day your fine. I had a real similar thing happen over a three day weekend and noticed no ill effects from it

How many lights are you going to run in that room with a dozen or whatever number you were talking about? Sorry for all the posts lol maybe i ought to quit reading your journal from the end to the front, smoked some raw diesel and am having a nice time chillin and trying to stay cool, its getting hot already

anyone have coments and thoughts about giving plants 2-3 days of dark BEFORE harvesting??? yes, no? jw what you guys think!

im not really sure if it does anything at all, but i harvest after a 12 hour dark cycle. the plants in the light for 1-2 hours while im cutting it down, so maybe thats when it pumps all its hormones or something? the light after the dark?

The reason why someone would do this is because not only does it increase yield (And supposedly resin) but it increases the amount of terpenes the plant produces. Terpenes or terpenoids, however its properly said result in things from a better tasting plant to the affects of serotonin on your brain, there are over 120 of them in this plant and we dont know what all of them do exactly, much like how there are over 60 cannabanoids and the situation still holds true. Try it out yourself and come back and tell the city what you think. ----------

UPDATE TIME WITH SOME PICTURES!!!!





Ook so ill long because i got allot to fill yha in with!

So iv began to harvest now, curently i have only took 1 15gal plant down and remodled my closet into a drying room. tonight i have my parrtner and some loyal friends/patients are going to come over and hellp me trim so i can at the very least get the other 15 gall and another 10 gall done tonight, the first one took me and my freind a total of 12 hrs (with breaks and food) to trim, was up till 1 am going to work lol.

Also had collected the trim frrom the 15 gal and ran it threw the mini washer machien so i could get bubble hash !!!! YHAY!!!

When i was making the bubble hash we took masin jars and collected the left over juciees from the mix (thc/cbd mixed with water) and we made some dank tea with it, accualy very tasty!~

BTW the count for the plants that i replaced in the spot of the 15g (about 3ft diameter) was 16 plants! ! so in theroy i could fill room with 50+ 5 gallon plants and still have walking sspace!!!

needed to have more area for drying, so i made this grate tray that i can hang from AND put product on top to dry, im pretty proud of this set up acutally lol last miniute type deal but is better then other methods iv seen!

That's exactly the reason as I understand it. It increases the terpines or resins. I have several clones of the same mother. I'll pick some that are most similar and put one in the dark for a day or two. I'll let you know if I notice a difference.

ok so in count i had 2 15 gals and 3 ten gals, i cut down 2 10 gals and 1 15 gal...


that being said i have 1 15 gal and 1 10 gal in the room now on 3 hrs of light rest is night time, and they have WAY more resin on the buds, i feel that taking them down one at a time gave each one more time to push so now when it dryes up the next batch is danker then the last, im going to give the early stuff away for cheap and the last trees i cut are going to be the cream of the crop!
