Bipolar Disorder by Anonymous

I'm a 43 year old man on social security disability for my mental health problems. I have been diagnosed as being bipolar, having many depression type problems, ADHD, and I don't remember what else. I also have active hepatitis C. I have attempted suicide at least ten times since I was 19.I just recently lost my prescription coverage in my state of Oregon. I was on meds like lithium, trazodone, Wellbutrin, Serzone, Effexor, Neurontin, Vistiril, and finally ranitidine. I was on ranitidine because I ended up with stomach problems caused by the prescription meds..

I recently started on marijuana, (legally a medical m.j. patient).I feel a lot better off with this new direction of medication in my life. I don't have to take meds to help my stomach feel better now. With marijuana I get to sleep better at night without the bother of taking trazodone.. I know that I will live longer now that I'm not swallowing anywhere from 15-25 pills a day. I feel that I can control my psychological problems better now with just one medication.
